Just make a ghillie like normal but use a lot of white and a few grays and black.

sneakythie100,

Check colors of dry grass and dirt on the field, dry leaves, your Ghilly should be more like ground not bush and you can use dark brown burlap ribbons and gray strands to mimic roots and tie dead plants and sticks. Find most typical color palete of the field floor. Also if there is some snow laying around you can make de-tachable ghillie patches with artificial snow. Check this site www.sno-wonder.com their snow sprays are permanent so don't apply them on suit if you going to use it in other seasons. And think how to keep yourself safe from cold temperature exposure.

Here's mine. i need to get more elastic on the lower back and left shoulder.

In this pic we used the flash so my scope would glare. that shows how helpful a sunshade can be.

And now... find me.

Devistator, that looks realy good. If you put more natural veg in there, you would hide even better.

Crosshairs, your ghillie suit definately looks top notch. Ronin, yours does as well, but in my opinion you're relying too much on the suit and less on the vegetation around you. A good concealment starts with getting down to mother nature. I'd suggest picking up some elastic bands and sewing them into the suit, and seeing what you can't do from there.

Mosin - I think you are right. I am starting to strip the bulap down a bit and thin it out. The loops on the ghillie vest should then provide me with somewhere to place natural vegetation. I am out again this weekend in the field and will try it out (i'll grab a couple of pics)

Heres my first time trying to use theweb-tex concealment vest. Dont be mean. smile.gif I Know it isnt perfect and much the green shows up but it was getting late and me an I wanted to soft so couldnt complete it completely.

Tell me your thoughts!
