Cleaning inner barrel problem

Hey guys i just have some problem after cleaning my inner barrel with silicone. For the cleaning i did not open my gun, so i just put my cleaning rod through the barrel from the front of the gun, then it touched my bucking inside my hop unit. After i clean my barrel i have some hop problem my bb sometimes get unhop. Is this because of the silicone that make the backspin of the bb really bad ?

If you want to do lazy cleaning without taking stuff apart then you can use car windshield wash fluid. The winter stuff is just water, alcohol and detergent. Just make sure you put a couple of clean, dry patches through after to get rid of any excess fluid.

WTF you should never, ever, ever, EVER put silicone in your inner barrel. Au contraire, you should prevent silicone from reaching there at all cost.

To fix it now, do as KillerDad said.

For future cleans it will not be necessary to disassemble, just do as this video shows

is it ok to mark a spot on a cleaning rod to know how far it can go before hitting the bucking? i dont really want to take apart my gun and re do the teflon tape on bucking and all after every time i shoot.

I was just curious because i've heard some people say its fine and some say it will still mess up the bucking. I'm using rubbing alcohol not silicone so it should dry and be alright i guess

It really depends on what cleaning solvent you are using as to how it will react to your bucking. Alcohol should be fine and shouldn't do anything to your bucking.

Kerosene works wonders at cleaning your barrel, just do not get it on your bucking as it will completely destroy the thing.
