CA M24 vs Javelin M24, SW M24

Ok so I may have run into a bit of an issue. I ordered a CA M24 boneyard gun from Evike. I eventually fixed it up and got it in working order. However, I realized recently that they may have sent me a Javelin M24 or a SW M24. For one, it came in OD. It also has a hop up that features an external slide for adjustments. In addition, it says "Made in China" on the bottom where the magwell would be on the real steel gun. All of these have me worried that they sent one of the clones. What are some tell tale signs of one being a clone without having to make any purchases such as an APS2 hop up or a Snow Wolf magazine?

That's not a classic army from what you have described.

That's what I was afraid of stubert. I don't ever remember the CA coming in OD or having a hop up that utilized the slide. Are those features the only things that are giveaways that it is not a CA? Im gonna give Evike a call and explain what happened after work and would like to prove it without a doubt to a customer service employee who probably has no idea what the gun is.

All of the features you mentioned aren't present on my CA M24. Never in OD, it has an APS2 hop that you adjust through the chamber and there are no made in China markings on it anywhere. If you can post a photo of the mag I can tell you for sure but it sounds like a Chinese rifle.

Here's a couple of the photos I sent to Evike. I'm 75% sure that this is a Snow Wolf M24 now. I didn't think the CA came in OD or had this type of hop up, but I didn't know for sure because I wasn't knowledgeable about CA M24 previous models/versions.

Yeah that's definitely not classic army. I couldn't tell you which Chinese one it is because I don't know them that well.
