Nineball bucking

I got a new Nineball VSR bucking today but noticed it's quite different to the stock Tokyo Marui bucking; there is a sort-of inner circle inside the bucking with a smaller diameter. I guess this is the air seal, but I had problems pushing my cylinder nozzle in to the bucking because of it. I was wondering if my nozzle is meant to slip in there or is it meant to struggle a bit? (Yeah, that last sentence sounds quite funny!)

Also, I'm not too sure how well this air seal performs but I don't think it will perform as well as it should because there's a couple of small tears in the air seal! I can't be bothered to send it back to Hong Kong though so I'll teflon tape the bucking down.

Cheers.

Also, I got a free promocode from EhobbyAsia that offers 10% discount off a purchase: leafletpromo - take it if you wish. ;)

It might be some rubber left from the factory, I remember reading a thread about a Nineball having creases of rubber inside that were causing feed issues.

I'm really not happy with mine, there must be something wrong. I think I'll just buy another Tokyo Marui one. :/

I've found they have gone down in quality in the past few years. When I first got into airsoft, people SWORE by NineBalls.

Try the PDI W-Hold for the VSR's, I loved mine. Works better if you have a flat arm. I had that and a DangerWerx Type B arm in my old VSR and the thing shot lasers.

Thanks! I'll use Nineball temporarily though as it's Christmas soon and I should be spending money on presents for people haha.

In the end I just turned my bucking inside out and tore off the air seal ring. It works fine now and I don't think I'm loosing any air so maybe there was some rubber left on the air seal and I just pulled that off.

Well it's been some time since my last 9ball bucking.
I install most of them in TM pistols and never had issues with them.
I had one in my old AICS and it worked amazingly!

TM buckings are very good... I'm using them with the latest pistol builds and I'm happy with them!! I really don't remember what I used in my old VSR, I sold it over 3 years ago!

It's performing much better than my gun did with the TM bucking; I can hit much farther now and the shots are consistent.
I think it's great, but there was just a bit of rubber that should've been pulled off in the factory!

I just got an order of 4 ( i like to have spares) and the casting on the air seal ring was really poor, lots of flashing that looks like it would impede feeding and cause issues. I think i am just going to stick some 600 grit sand paper in there and sand it down even.

Where did you buy it from? I wonder if we got a dodgy batch! (I got mine from eHobbyAsia).

Did your air seal ring have sort of rips in it, like mine?
Here's a picture before I tore off the ring:

Ok, well as I said before: I just turned it inside out and I tore it off and it's fine now! Sanding it should work too.
