ASG AW 308. upgrades worth it?

Hello my name is Kizza and i live in norway and i am 18 years old. early last year i got a present which contained an asg aw308 and i couldnt refund it. som my question is what type of parts will fit on this L96 clone? I am currently looking for a full upgrade kit for the sniper as money isnt an issue at the moment.
I heard a rumour that this gun uses the same parts as the Well l96 but i tought i could use some help on this so that i dont end up on buying parts that wont fit on my gun.
it would be really nice if most of the parts are from the same site and that they can ship to Norway.

Thanks, K.

I recently got this gun and yes, it uses the same parts as the Well l96(type96 parts). If you are looking for cheap, but quality upgrade sets, then I would recommend Airsoftpro. Here is a link to their type 96 parts: http://airsoftpro.cz/eshop/index.php?cPath=93_229
They also have a hop-up chamber for the type 96 that allows the use of AEG barrels and AEG buckings, but it is under the AEG internal parts section for some reason.

Hope this helps

The new version AW.308 uses the 45 degree pistons and trigger. If so, a metal trigger unit would be a good idea.

hey and thanks for the answer :) anyway i was looking at this kit http://airsoftpro.cz/eshop/product_i...oducts_id=1268 + http://airsoftpro.cz/eshop/product_i...oducts_id=2044 but i was wondering wich spring i should choose and how much tension the trigger can withstand without breaking? ( or should i just go big bucks for a zero trigger?)

I would highly recommend that you rather get their CNC-trigger if you plan to use anything stronger than the stock spring. Compared to other zero triggers, they are much cheaper

I've been using a 500 fps spring for my WELL MB08 for about a year now, on the standard metal trigger box, with standard sears.

The CNC Trigger does look like a good (modified) PDI Trigger, and it should hold up fine.

Ok i will get the CNC trigger and go for a 180 spring. Just to be sure the piston that is in the upgrade package will fit the CNC trigger right?

well I think the guys at airsoftpro are clever enough to build parts that fit the other parts MADE by them ;)

But it wouldn't hurt to send an email and ask them

hello today all my parts arrived and i got them installed. first thing i noticed was that the long pin that you insert in the trigger box and goes up in the sylinder will not fit. anyone know what to do or have i waste some money?

i have uploaded som photos as you can see the pin wont go all the way into the cylinder, but it will fit if i pull the cylinder out of the gun.

check if it gets stuck on the spring guide, due to misallignment.

also, let me know how that trigger works out for you. I contacted the guys who make em, and they plan to come out with a V2 this year (with trigger pull adjustment etc)

When everything is brand new it is quite a tight fit. I have found that you just need to tap it in lightly with a hammer.

Yeah i figured aswell, the trigger is great. only one problem. The screw that keeps the bolt handle have broken on me twice now . does anyone know if its just to go in the hardware store to pick up one since the stock one give after about 20 shots :(.
