That could work, but it would be different for different types of stocks, so if you have a longer or shorter stock it would require a new cut again and it could end up looking awful, so I ended up deciding to stick with this for now ;)

I have been wondering what kind of setup are you using to make these. Is it all manual machines or any CNC. I am almost done with my machinist degree at school. Been looking to buy a used manual mill and lathe and maybe a cheap table top CNC. I want to get into making some high end pocket knifes and what not.

This is awesome man! My airsoft budget canít afford to take on a new build at the moment, but I plan on getting one by the end of 2019!

Most of the work I outsource and have it done on a 4-axis cnc. The finishing touches I do myself manually.

The new 'pro' version (basic model, lower price) is almost exclusively cnc made. It doesn't offer any customization, that keeps the cost down.

The custom version still has stuff done by hand, which allows me to keep working on a custom order basis. The extra time it takes does increase the price though.
