I removed some material from the buttplate-thing.

Sorry, the lighting kinda messes up the pictures...

I also made more room in the stock for the hop up block, as well as made the holes for the front receiver screw and mag release button. Oh, and I finally milled out the magazine port!

Next up, I milled a slope to the stock, so it alignes with the slope on the magazine.

The magazine sticks out a bit, because itīs middle is slightly rounded, but thatīs just a small cosmetical issue.

Chamfered the front edges of the stock:

Also worked a bit more on the magwell.

Made room for the trigger(box).

Not pretty, but it will be covered up anyways.

I slanted part of the stock, to match the contours of the receiver.
Because I didnīt take my time when doing so, I ended up with those two grooves and the slant of the stock not quite matching the slant of the receiver. Nothing some epoxy canīt fix, but still a bit annoying.
Remember to take your time!

Next up, I started making the triggerguard and grip-thing.

I left some material on the sides, to give it more contact surface to the stock.

Making room for the grip:

The width is perfect:

The grip now fits on:

Unfortunately I donīt own an endmill with the proper radius, so it ended up having a small gap at the corner of the grip.

After making the slot for the trigger:

I slanted the sides of the trigger guard, to match those of the grip.

Close to being finished:

I milled 1mm deep into the stock, so that the triggerguard-grip-piece sits a bit recessed.

Then I milled off the sides of the back part, until it was 28mm wide (itīs also 28mm high).

Next up I slanted the sides (which turned out way nicer than before),

Also shaped the triggerguard part accordingly, as well as reduced itīs weight a bit more and made the hole and threads for the grip screw.

It is not shown here, but there are 7 screws holding the triggerguard part on the stock. So pretty stable.

I donīt really have a name for this piece, but you will see what it does:

Here is the cheek rest, made out of 28mm POM:

After reducing itīs weight a bit more and making the holes for screwing it to the stock:

The matching holes in the stock:

Took a lot of material away from the stock. Itīs is still very strong. I also radiused all the edges of the stock.

So here is the whole stock in itīs current state:

VERY nice work. Reminds me of my EBR Vsr stock. Except yours is A LOT nicer!! I’m excited to see your project in its final form.

Thanks guys!

The current weight is 1454g. I will remove some more material from the front part (about 100g) and add a magazine holder as well as QD sling mounts. So I expect it to weigh about 1.4kg when itīs finished.

Final update!

I made the slots and holes for the QD-slingmounts. I also removed some material from the sides on the front.

Hereīs the fake magazine, which holds an actual magazine.

Itīs held on by two M6 screws.

These POM pieces make sure the magazine sits straight. Originally it was one piece, but it got warped during milling, so I had to cut it to multiple pieces.

Here are some close-ups of the stock.

And the other side:

In itīs completed state...

Here with a G-spec barrel:

The final weight (with the fake magazine) is 1415g.

That would look really good with a super short barrel I think. Also, did you paint it or anodize?

Yep, I also think a short barrel would match it quite nicely.
It is painted.
