Cyma m40a3!!!

Just stumled on this rifle while checking some stuff on taiwangun: CM.700 - Olive Drab [CM] - TaiwanGun.com

What do you think which system is it? Kinda looks nice and it comes with 500 fps stock.

I think it's brand new, and I'm ordering one.
But they don't have spare magazines for it yet.

Looks like a decent VSR-ish (?) gun on a M40A3 stock, at an awesome price.

Really hoping for a true VSR clone internals, that would make it one of the best guns around.

From the look of the magazine, maybe L96 based?
I'm just hoping for a 90 degree trigger system.

I'd really like to see someone opening that thing and doing review on it, considering it comes stock with 500 fps and if it has half decent trigger , one could leave power and trigger upgrades for last

Oh my...And I was on the hunt for a new BASR.

Now I really hope for this to be full VSR compatible but I fear that its not...

Just got it, and tried it.
It's not VSR compatible, as far as I can tell.
I've yet to take apart the hopup unit, cylinder and trigger box.
I'll take a look at the piston tomorrow, and maybe the rest.

But it's a 90 degree trigger system, metal trigger box, steel(Magnetic) spring guide stopper and steel(Magnetic) piston sear.

Edit: The piston and spring guide(Not the stopper) are the standard yellow/white plastic.

It's winter... And it was too dark to tell how the bb's flew...
I could hit a 4" pole about 80-90 feet away, by using the rail to aim(Didn't have a scope at hand).
But I couldn't see the bb, so it was only by sound.

I measured it at about 2.4-2.5J using 0.28g bb's(Converted to 518fps/157ms with 0.2g).

The body feels heavy and sturdy, compared to a VSR/BAR-10.

Hello, Im from spain, i have the new cyma and the s&t m40a3 and the are the same gun, no diferences. I have compare with my others snipers and I can say that the piston, piston head and cilinder are not compatible with the VSR.
PD: sorry about my bad english

First batch:

The two body screws:

The bottom of the body, with a useless latch:

The top of the body, over the trigger guard and the useless latch...

The top of the magwall:

The bottom of the body with the useless latch closed...

The receiver assembled, and the spring guide stopper pulled out(Halfway):

The spring guide stopper hanging on to a magnet... So not potmetal.

The left side of the receiver:

The bolt/cylinder taken out:

The cylinder head:

More of the same:

All alone:

Here's the piston and spring guide:

A magnetic washer on the spring guide:

And the base is magnetic too:

A spring guide... How exciting!

And the front of the piston:

90 degrees of goodness:

Empty:

Pistons side by side... That's from airsoftpro, if you couldn't tell.

And look it fits That said, the piston is slimmer than a stock VSR piston:

And it holds air:

And now it doesn't:

The cylinder levitating magically:

So far so good.

Seeing as the airsoftpro piston will fit stock Well MB02, MB03, MB07, MB09, MB10 and MB11, you could try finding pistons, that fit them instead.

What type of SDIK would work (if any) and what aftermarket hopup unit it acceps is what matters the most to me.
