I used to be pretty naive. I thought that custom parts, higher prices and such will be the best.
But it is really up to you. I could sit here and explain how each brand has their merits and demerits, but I assume you want pure statistics.
So, here's what I have to say.
Action Army, hands down. 90 degree is better than 45 or 50 degree. It's that simple.
Cylinders, pistons, and springs:
EdGi. He uses stronger materials that will last longer. But, it won't really matter. They are both strong enough, so the difference will be negligible.
EdGi would have slightly longer longevity, but you need to decide if the added price is worth for you.
Action Army barrels are not bad, but EdGi are better. EdGi barrels have a mirror finish that'll be a bit more accurate.
So, in the end it's up to you.
You can save some money with the AA route and have very similar performance.
Or, pay a pretty decent price premium and go for EdGi.
I would advise you to buy Action Army parts. EdGi will undoubtedly be nicer, but the $55 shipping, already marked up prices, and minimal benefit (for cylinder parts) isn't really worth it.
Go buy AA. It's plenty strong and it'll save you some money.
