Ive said my peace. No more.

I love the game of airsoft. I love airsoft guns. I’ll never forget the first time I set down my lime green Spyder paintball gun and picked up my Classic Army M16a3. Those white bbs were on a rope! That was it! I never paintballed again.

Because this model .177 pellet gun you refer to has no 6mm airsoft counterpart, just like my old paintball gun doesn't have an automotive airbrush counterpart, because those two things are completely different.
Only one of those things has a bucking, only one has 6mm spherical ammunition, only one blah blah blah.

I get why you'd be tempted to compare two projectile devices, but it truly makes no sense in any meaningful way.

Great comparison. On the subject of cost of Airsoft/airgun/real steel prices there is also peoples perceived idea of value and true cost. How many of us would something cheap without thinking “ it must be junk, rubbish etc” when there are more expensive products available. Oakley sunglasses cost a few cents to make but sell for 100s of dollars, pounds, if they sold them at real cost plus a small profit no one would buy them as they would be cheap. It’s all down to the marketing and advertising creating a need for the expensive product

part of it has to do with who is buying the guns as well. Pellet guns are marketed towards old people that are trying to rid their yard of pests. Old people dont like to spend money so the prices are competitive. Whereas airsoft guns are sold primarily to younger crowd and can be pricer because of this.

Oh I see your point! Haha. Really though I think that can be explained mostly by the ridiculously low prices of Walmart versus the ridiculously high prices of Evike...

But yeah great comparison OP. I was surprised though, I actually thought his SSG had EdGI internals. I guess I was mixing it up his upgrade kits (that are just EdGI parts right?).
So then what barrel is that in the SSG? I'm curious about the barrel quality and the bucking, because - especially with the bucking - those are basically the only truly necessary parts in terms of quality in order to provide out-of-the-box accuracy (other than I suppose power consistency); like obviously the rifle isn't flawless, and if it isn't, the parts that should absolutely be top-tier are the barrel and bucking...

The inner barrel in the SSG is an aluminum barrel. The bucking is likely a softer version of the Modify tan bucking.

So this is the original Modify M24. Not the new Modify M24 USR150.

I just checked. The one in the review is of the old version. The new version has the keyhole mod for the barrel. Check this out: https://www.airsoftgi.com/product/Mo...-Option-37076/

So now we have a problem. The people reading this thread will now think that the new good USR150 rifle is a dud. I think it would be great if Gigi could edit the first post so people know that this is not the Modify M24 USR150.
Is this possible Gigi as it may damage the reputation of a new good rifle on the market?
If it is a great rifle then it may be the new highly recommended rifle.

Yeah, the new modify is most likely a copy of novritsch ssg24. But it isn't likely any cheaper than the ssg24.

True. But it is new and Modify will try to aim for the highest price. I would not be surprised if they bring it down in price after a year of little sales.
I am pretty sure most people would rather a Novritsch than the Modify M24 USR150 just because it has the name with it even though it is the same. Though if Modify bring the price down, then people will start to change their mind.

The SSG24/USR150 will be the best stock rifle but my personal pick for best sniper rifle would still be an upgraded VSR10 because of the lightness and the small mags.
It would be cool if Modify made a lighter stock like the VSR one.

All of your pictures are mislabeled.

You state that "X has this while Y has that," but then your pictures show the exact opposite.
