I, myself was not happy with the first post as it said that it was reviewing the new M24. This would mean the M24 USR150. But it was not.
Here is the stock one: https://www.wgcshop.com/products?sea...gory&rs=Spring Bolt Action Rifles&catid=1&cat=41&view_choice=a

I agree that the USR150 has an over killed price. But so does the SSG

Thank you.

So, if I understand correctly, noone tested/disassembled the new and expensive Modify24.

How do we know it will be any good? Why not just buy the SSG24 them? (I do not have this option in Brazil, but you guys have).

You fellows have no idea how expensive Airsoft is over here... 😔

Are you able to link the comparison?

So has anyone used the mod usr150 yet? It's only going for $379 on airsoftgi at the moment, kind of tempting to grab one for my son.

@1tonne

It's in german tho

Also from the comment section:
Quote:
380€-400€ = MOD 24 (Base Prize)
Make it SSG24:
80€ = Outer Barrel twisted grooves (only looks)
13€ = HopUp Bucking (NOV one is harder)
25€ = Cylinderhead (Nov one is longer so better BB Placement)
23€ = HOPUP ARM (Mod24 uses the Nov "Low Power" Arm)
45€ = Inner Barrel
50€ = Piston (Not sure if only different color)
13€ = Barrelspacer
18€ = m150 Spring (Like it's sold in Germany)
Together around = 647€-667€ (depending on shop) (SSG24 is 598€ in Germany))

Please note, that the Prizes in Germany are higher due to their stupid laws

Now the price for ssg24 is 490 with shipping in EU. Not sure how that differs with import price for Germany.

Sorry to bring the thread back to live, but I'm really tempted to get one Novi's SSG24, for less than €500.
I saw one of the first Ver.1 SSG24's last Sunday on the field and I was very impressed by the look and the build quality, really strong body and external barrel. And shoots very good. The guy said he have it almost 2 years and haven't change anything, except the rubber. :)
Hows the overall opinion about the new Novi's SSG24?

I heard somewhere you can literally ask Modify directly and they will sell you an SSG for the actual normal selling price without Nov mark-up.

If it's the same as Novi's, would be great, but who knows?

Can anyone else confirm that?

Any opinion on Silverback SRS A1 22"?

"who knows" if it's the same rifle? The public...I think? I'm under the impression it's public knowledge that the SSG is an upgraded Modify rifle with known upgrade parts.
I'm almost certain there's a thread on this very forum outlining the specific differences between the original Modify rifle and the SSG- Google around. Then email Modify :P
Here's what I was referring to:

Oooo, this would be interesting if we could confirm it. I wouldn't mind having a cheap SSG to play around with if it was the right price. But I'm not paying markup just because his name is on it.

Nothing against Nov, I think he has some good products, I just won't pay ~500 for an SSG.

Thought it was literally this post who laid out all the differences between the SSG and the Mod24 original.

The OEM being Modify was never a seriously guarded secret (and not something usable to shame somebody with in the first place). Novritsch even mentioned the SSG is based on the Mod24 when it was announced and was met with criticizes about the gun is mostly a Mod24.

I've mailed Modify directly about the differences between the SSG and the Mod24 family (there's like a handful of Mod24 variants). TLDR, the Mod24 and Mod24 USR130 are base models, while the USR150, SF and X are practically identical outside of the outer barrel and are the same as the SSG24, but with more upgrade parts they've previously produced for the Mod24. None of them shares the 6.01mm inner barrel with the SSG.

Modify will only export the SF (conical fluted) elsewhere - as far as I know Redwolf will have them - while the X (bull fluted) is strictly limited to Japan and Taiwan. Probably will have to search around if there are any local Taiwanese/Japanese stores willing to ship the X but the costs probably would exceed buying the SSG imo depending on where you live.

Wait, im confused . Isn't the SSG and the mod24 usr150 sf about the same price? Is it that the new mod 24 has more upgrade parts?
