"Assault" sniper sidearm

Hello,
is out there any "Assault" sniper?
i am talking about those guy who like to brake enemy flow to front line, that smash the dream of new respawned guys......that eventually manage to get a small army of enemy charge toward them.
Well I am one of them and i need you wisdom in choosing a good sidearm.
My Ruger mk2 is not good for this play style, i think no pistol is

So i thought, a small AEG SMG will be what it need.
First i found JG0451SMG with is a CZ Scorpion, but you know custom gearbox and all, then i saw JG0451SMG MP5 foldable stock V2 gearbox hicap but it seams bulkier then scorpion and the last one is compact P90 with i find harder to use it one hand over corners in with JG0452 will perform great, i think.
Why i want AEG over gas or co2: there are have more consistency and easier to fix.
Any suggestion will be welcome.

G18c is what you want small, light and auto. Carry 2 mags. Normally I would say a TM gas version but since you are wanting electric, you could get the AEP version. The AEP is cool but it has low fps though it is still accurate.
If they did 330fps, they would be the snipers go to pistol.

If they get too close, just get an AEP for cheap secondary, if you need something with more power, get the JG skorpion AEP(275FPS) with a bucking and barrel, if you need something with more OOOMPH! I believe the Echo1 GAT is the smallest pistol handled like AEG out there.

Beefier guns like the MP5K or pistol ARs feel clunky to be honest

yes i begin to think more that jg scorpion will suit the best and can be handled like a pistol due his weight around 1150 g

biggest problems you will face with the skorp are:

- Difficult to find midcaps
- There is no holster for it unless you get an original leather one
- Upgrades are difficult to get unless you rhop it and forget about a precision barrel
- Stock battery is BAD, you will need to hunt one of those lipo adaptors and use a small 7.4v 300mah micro lipos

If you are seriously considering it to be your assault backup, you can ditch the stock (too short if you are not a dwarf) anyway I recomend you to get one of those cheap glock rail adaptors to put stuff like optics on them, I have one in my skorp and despite blocking the jection/hopup port, it will allow you to put a small RDS. You can cut the rail as well, I'm just lazy

If you don't mind using hicaps then I still suggest the skorp, get a couple of them and put them in a pistol pouch.

I have both the Mac10 and skorp and the skorp is much more usable. The mac10 is nice if you are going to run it as a primary, even without the stock, that thing is heavy as f**k, take to bricks, glue them together and try to use them as a pistol, that's the feeling you will get from the mac10

I have electric cyma “glock” with full auto, it’s nice to handle. Magazine has 30 or so bbs, which is excellent, mag itself is small, so you can carry like 4, if not more in one pistol pouch. Accuracy is ok at 10m. It’s quite quiet. On stock nimh battery, it’s sad, you press the trigger and there’s a delay, then a slow shot. Lipo battery is a must, it shoots on demand and wayy crispier, not even going to start talk about differences in auto. Lipo is a must. Great thing about it, you empty a mag, stick another one in and ready to go for another round and again and again for hundreds of bullets. No gas refill, fps difference between shots, temperature doesn’t matter, works all year round, etcetera, it’s superior than a gbb, BUT! The biggest flaw with aep that I find is... it shoots only up to 60m/[email protected] (196fps) at best. Mine does 59m/s (193fps) flat. It’s so lacking in power, you can throw bb further and faster. I so often get in situations where people just can’t feel the hit, it’s so frustrating. And that reason alone is why I have gbbp and only ever use aep when it’s cold.
So I wouldn’t recommend electric pistol.

I used to have the G18c AEP. I wish I still had on. I would look at it as a big challenge to get 300fps. (Maybe a good 6.00mm barrel will help since it is only firing 0.2-0.25gm bb's.
My previous G18c was getting 225fps.

I’ve run an Amoeba CCC P* for years and always found it a solid balance to my bolty. I prefer the charging handle and folding stock of the CCC over the design of the CCP (I own both models), as it makes for a stronger braced stance. The V2 gearbox provides plenty of upgrade options as well.

Recently I’ve swapped out the CCC for a SMG tuned P90. It’s awkward to use/carry compared to the CCC, but micro M4’s don’t qualify for the class. It’s a very tunable platform with a fair bit of support, though nowhere near that of a V2. I hate the mag size/shape and none of the mag pouches work well (I put them in a dump pouch now). It’s a solid aggressive play platform though.

A side benefit of the P90 is all the pouches it opened up on my rig. I replaced all my chest pouches with 4x40mm’s so I can carry a blend of showers, 40mikes and Taginn’s with a pistol launcher on my belt. The double M4 pouches left now hold flashbangs, R2BS frags and EG18 smokes.

I run basically what Corriander does. (Didn't even know it this time!)

I ran a ccp and ccc. They were fun. Sold them. Ran a tm g18c, pretty fun. Little fussy with the heat. Still have it. Mk23 a given staple. Kjw 1911 co2. Kicks nice and does the job.

Just picked up a P90. (More like it was thrown at me). Its a little hard to deal with the magazines, but nothing that cannot be addressed. Had a little trouble getting the laylax mag release on it, very tight and pretty strong too. Just waiting for the microswitch trigger unit to show up.

Carrying it is still a small challenge, i believe a weapon catch is likely the best option. Something like this: UK Arms Precision Weapon Link for Webbing - DARK EARTH | Airsoft Megastore

Or this: Lancer Tactical Airsoft 20mm MOLLE Weapon Link - BLACK | Airsoft Megastore

Right now, I use a modified Amoeba Honey Badger and a back pack to stow it away when its not needed. I guess this comes down to play style. I never assault alone when sniping, my team will get me far enough that I can get to a spot where either close to the front or find a place to hide when the front passes by me. All of the while I can be picking out long range targets and providing support to the assaulters . The only real time that I need it is if i'm going to assault an objective while i'm behind the enemy or fight my way out of an area.

I still carry a pistol for the OH SHIT moments and use it frequently

I know EXACTLY what you guys are saying about the new SMG class thats popping up everywhere, I LOVE this concept but M4s don't fit the regs for this. I'm waiting a few months for that MP7 AEG by VFC to come out to replace the honey badger .

All of this is when I've got my bolt gun of course. Truth be told, If you're playing your role right, you should never NEED a full auto gun with quick access while you got your bolt rifle in hand. A pistol for short range defence , yes, for sure. A SMG stuffed in a back pack for mission specific stuff or as an insureance policy , ya, not a bad idea depending on how much weight you're comfortable with .

A small smg like a Vector or an MP7 aeg.... oh yeah, stuffed in a back pack and an iron on your hip and you're good to go IMHO
