Which pistol?

I've decided on building a hi-capa, and I'm not sure what to go with. I'm between a tm hi-capa: https://www.evike.com/products/24981/ and an SAI 2011 hi-capa: https://www.evike.com/products/66354/. Should I just get the tm and upgrade, or go with the SAI and leave it as is? I do not plan on upgrading for a while, and I play at a field that limits pistols to 350fps with .25s. Also, is the SAI completely tm upgrade compatible?

I may also be interested in the glock platform but I'd rather have something that I can upgrade over time and there doesn't seem to be many aftermarket parts for the umarex glocks. Also, I've been looking at the kli hi-capas as well and they look interesting.

Hi!, if you want to keep out of problems, don't choose the glock!

I have to say that other than the nozzle issues (repairable and upgradable), the KJW pistols have treated us well. Between my kid and I we've had a few KJW pistols and I can't really say they let us down. If you're into Glocks, I'd say to check the KJW KP-13 (Glock). It really is a nice little gun. Kicks like a donkey too. I know a few players who've had hicapas and swear by them (not at them...hahaha). So, maybe the KJ is an option?

Honestly for the price, the Novritsch pistol is hard to beat. It's basically a KJW with upgraded parts. I would still upgrade the hopup and barrel but other than that it's ready to go.

I have the Novritsch scope and its also a solid piece of kit. Very impressed with the features for the price.

Hicapa has the most aftermarket support. Tm hicapa is the gold standard.

Get a chance to feel how the pistols for your hand. Hicapa might be big if your paws are smaller.

With that said, I have 2 kjw hicapa’s; a kp05 & kp06.

I also have:
Kjw mk2
Kjw g23 glock (beat to hell and back on a clear frame)
We g34
We g18
We g35
We m9
We m&p9
G&g gtp9 (no opinion on it as it’s bnib)

There might be more idk. I’ve lost count nowadays lol

A while ago I got this thing. Some call it an 802, sometimes itís a Prowler, and whatever else...stock? It lasted about 300 shots and the hop up came apart. What some would see as devastation of course became opportunity! This is mamaís pistol. She uses it for plinking cans and stuff...well, she was pretty sad her neat little gun packed in.

This became mad science a couple of winters ago! It now has a 6.03 barrel, a TDC mod and itís r hopped. It fires all day at 410 fps and the range with a .3 is better than most AEGís! Hahahaha. The neat things about this is the short stroke, it cycles half as far as a regular blowback pistol so you can easily get well over a hundred shots on a single CO2 cartridge. It also uses stick mags instead of a traditional mag so the CO2 stays in the handle and all you have in your pocket is these little sticks. I can fit six mags in a 1911 pouch!

We also like it as itís very, very compact. Unfortunately itís obscenely loud, but by the same token, small enough to carry as a second and being short stroked you can crank a full mag of 20 BBís without breaking a sweat. Ok, this was a very complex project and absolutely not possible with store parts, but if youíre going to Frankenstein something....oh yeah baby!!!

It was actually higher! About 430 or so. Probably why it blew apart. The slide was racking like a jackhammer. At least now I can game it.

Thanks for the help everyone! I decided on going with a kjw hi-capa, mapleleaf cj + autobot50 and I-key because that combo would cost me the same as a tm hi-capa in the states and it would probably perform better.

Also sorry, I realize now that I should have posted this under the pistol subject.
