VSR M120 Spring problem

hi there,

i have a problem with my newly bought m120 AA spring. I installed it and it went just fine and its still shoots as it should. The only problem is that after i shoot i can hear the spring vibrate or shake within the cylinder. Since im new to airsoft sniping and airsoft in general im not able to find what the problem is :( so any help or suggestions are welcome

The sniper i own is a TM VSR 10 Pro and everything in the cylinder are AA parts

Thanks in advance!

If its the same lenght and diameter maybe you assembled it wrong? Also more powerful springs make more noice

Sometimes these things are just a bit random. Try different springs. You can also try a M130 spring and cut it down. Or add a bit of weight to the piston.

well diameter is the same but the lenght is a bit shorter. and its a weaker spring so it should make less sound :P

AA spring are known for there twang. (They are made from piano wire. Not sure what other springs are made of). They are good springs but they are noisy.
Laylax springs are about your quietest.

Any tips ? Like, lacquer your spring guide? Or use heatwrap on it or something? Shorten spring? I too have this problem, only distinct sound that comes out of my rifle is loud twang. Very annoying.

Biggest tip. Get a Laylax spring
Otherwise put heat shrink on the spring (10mm lengths and glue them in place)
