Man I love the projects you guys are working on!! That polarstar micro reg seems to be a good piece to have for these builds.

The design took so many hours and test prints to reach a practically perfect fit and the print itself takes about 55hrs, quite a lot of filament and many hours of sanding - not sure your average airsofter would appreciate that when being asked to pony up sufficient cash to make it worthwhile unfortunately 😞
Now you can do molds based on the 3d printed piece, will be much cheaper in mass production.

These custom chassis are next level good...
It's surprising how major manufacturer don't already do this - especially the ones that sell HPA tanks and accessory

Last night I modified the VSR base to fit the EBR stock. The EBR base has a hole that was able to line up perfectly with the VSR rear trigger guard screw hole. I will probably add an extra brace to support everything since the VSR base is plastic. I also started mounting the Wraith to the bottom of the cheek pad, which also just needs some hardware to wrap up!

@Masinmees

Very impressive, was that built off the Remington 700 version? Or you had to do alot of filing to it?

Yes, real steel stock was MDT HS3 for remington 700 short action (VSR is based on that version).
Only thing that matched between real steel stock and VSR rifle base, was the outer diameter of the receiver, so it needed A LOT of modding to fit VSR into this stock.
After countless hours of work I'm really happy with the end result. it feels really solid and thanks to the P* UGS stock is very well balanced in hand.

Where did you find that stock and how did you connected the tank to the stock? Also where is your secondary regulator?

It is real steel stock that has been modded so it could take VSR inside. I think MDT discontinued it already. Hose is going through the stock. Regulator is polarstar UGS with high pressure spring.

I mean the butt stock that can cover the tank, also how did you connect the tank to the rifle stock? With a modified ASA or something?

https://polarstarairsoft.com/product...ugs-air-system

It has milspec threads like the stock and it can be screwed on to that.

Yesterday I finished the support braces, fitted the stock for the “final time”, installed the bolt and trigger, routed the battery harness to the grip, and put the air line on from the wraith to fitting.
