Well, based on other releases, it's shape, and the fact that he mentioned something about being compatible with other brand magazines, its a VSR with a direct copy maple leaf mlc stock.

Funnily enough, maple leaf just released a full built mlc s1 vsr rifle. It's on airsoft thaiwan and costs $600.

Like Sodium said, I'm pretty sure it's a VSR clone in one of them fancy stocks. And overpriced, for sure. Kinda want to see who the OEM is for him though...

I thought of the maple leaf stock as soon as I saw it. I agree!

You know I go against the grain and donít really mind Novritsch.
He does rebrand/copy on his guns, but point me to another airsoft company actually innovating these days (not in the HPA space). At least his stuff is high performance coming out of the factory (mostly). He also does provide pretty high quality stuffs and although it might be possible to get similar or better performance for slightly lower cost, go scroll through the product page on his site and I donít think youíll feel like heís stringing his customer base out to dryólots of the prices are quite reasonable, and some are even competitive.

Regarding this new rifle, yup looks like the Mapleleaf stock, but at this point I think he has enough brand power to make a deal with other companies we havenít thought of.

Nothing against Novi, I actually like the ssg. Performs really well as most playable ranges. I just don't respect knocking off other products without credit (the "ssx23" (mk23) holster)

Edit: I take it back. Apparently it is credited

Actually he just distributes the DTD holster. I donít think he rips that off and does credit DTD. at least he did when I purchased one like 2 months ago from him.

I'm not sure what to make out of this one.
Basically everybody knows this is the same stock Maple Leaf is selling currently, I wonder if Novritsch is using Maple Leaf as the OEM this time for his new (potentially) VSR based rifle.

BTW ASG is going to roll out their own VSR based rifle, except this time it came with an AA hop up chamber and steel stuff all stock. I wonder how would the Noviboy VSR hold up against that.

Yea the DTD holster is still made by DTD... for now. Eventually I'm sure he'll rip that off too.

If the SSG was so good. My question is why is he bringing out a VSR based platform?
The only way to make it even worth looking at would be a single piece receiver, you have companies like SFC smashing out amazing VSR's for relatively cheap (in VSR terms) money. Although I do remember before the SSG phenomena came about he always used his trusty VSR10. Maybe he never actually "wanted" to go down the Modify route and because it was such an unknown, nobody would OEM for him other than Modify. Now he's build a brand up, he's a lot more attractive?

With the SSG he "kind of" has a monopoly on spares and parts but if he goes VSR compatible he will lose all of that exclusivity but then again he would gain access into the same spares market.

I'm expecting a G18C at some point.

SSG is an M24 platform. It is inherently heavy. By moving to a VSR he could be able to make a lighter rifle. This is really the only area I could see a real reason to make a different platform for him.

He used a Vsr-10 for YEARS, as his channel got big. If he makes a vsr rifle now, he will easily be able to sell parts for it. Mainly because the vsr parts market is so huge and a lot of people buy items with his name tag.

As the owner of a maple leaf stock, it is a maple leaf stock. We have to remember that Novritsch loved his vsr10. He only hated the fragility, and the maple leaf stock is super sturdy. Also, my stock has solved my mag ejection problems, the mags jump out either because there is more space around them, or because of the maple leaf mag catch. I would highly recommend the maple leaf stock to anyone. 3 times cheaper than the modelworks and just as good.

The maple leaf stock is quite heavy. Not quite Well MB01 heavy, that is like carrying a depleted uranium outhouse, but still heavy. It does feel great though!

He's gonna rip off ML as well in the name of profit, typical noviboii behavior.

Now let's watch as all the fanboys throwing €500 at a less shit than stock JG bar10 with a fancy stock.
