Strange trajectory

I purchased a new KJ Works Mk1 pistol. Anyway, I noticed when new, if aiming horizontally, it shot nice and straight (with hopup set for 0.28gm bb's). If I angled the pistol downwards by about 10 degrees the bb would ark upward a little. I then went to the second story of my house and aimed downward about 30 degrees. The bb curved upwards really fast. The more I aimed downward, the more it curved upwards. I then aimed upwards and the opposite occurred. It curved downwards.
So, aim horizontal and it goes straight. Aim down and it curves up really fast. Aim high and it curved downwards.
To try and fix it I have shimmed the outer barrel now so that it has no wobble and I have also shimmed the top receiver on the pistol thinking that if the pistol has no movement that the trajectory would stay straight. But this did not change anything.
Why is this. I cannot figure it out. I don't know how to fix it and I have not ever seen it before. The hopup looks stable.

Have you tried what happens if you fired at 90+ degrees upwards/downwards in relation to the ground?

You were probably shooting downwind at crazy wind speed.

No. Night time now and so I will check tomorrow. Never seen this before in all of my years of teching.
But to be honest, I am not much of a tech when it comes to gas pistols. Though I know how to pull most of them apart and fix them I am not amazing tech when it comes to upgrading them. I normally keep them stock or just replace broken parts.

Hold on, is your issue just an April Fool prank, or you are for real?

So if it is the bucking (somehow) you can replace it with one of the pieces of a Tanaka m700 bucking. You can buy a replacement bucking from g&g. It is the circled one in the picture. This does need to be trimmed a little though.

Could the inner barrel be mounted off horizontal and with a downward tilt creating a pseudo LRB?

Guges off airsoft society has come up with a good reason.
This is what he said
"BB Placement in the hop-up. Try a new packing....AKICA...bucking.

When it's facing down the bb rolls forward and is leaning against the "contact" mound = more hop.

When it's facing up it's leaning away from the contact mound = less hop"
This sounds like the most plausible answer.

That’s what I would put my money on.

BTW that Tanaka bucking looks exactly like the one I got on my A&K Winchester. The barrel has a hole instead of a standard window and there is no normal bucking at all, only an oring in the chamber and that weird piece of rubber.

Seems like the best answer. Try the g&g bucking. Maybe if you used heavier bbs->needed to use more hop->put more pressure on the bb->held it in place more securely.

Oring in the chamber. Mine does not have that but it could help a lot. Where does it fit?

When you take of the hopup unit instead of a barrel with a window you have a hole about the size of the end of a person's pinky. The bucking is a patch with a circular protrusion the size of the hole. This goes into the hole. The end of the patch if you use the g&g will stick out just slightly and this needs to be trimmed down.

I understand what the G&G nub looks like.
But I am wondering about the o-ring that Jsmithski was talking about. I think it goes in before the barrel is inserted into the hopup and this keeps the bb away from the nub. Meaning it should be in a similar place each shot.

I donīt see how that would have an effect.?
I mean, how much hop you get, depends on the bbs velocity and how much friction there is betweeen your bb and bucking. How can the distance between bb and mound have an effect on that? The bb still has to be pushed trough the same bucking, with the same amount of friction. If there would be any difference, Iīd rather say, the bb leaning away from the mound would get more hop, since it is faster when it hits the mound, even though the difference would be minimal.
