high scope mount/ low scope mount?

Since from I started play airsoft from 2011, people often advised me use low profile scope mount for best zero-scope with rifle.

But I wanna ask? When we use low height scope mount? and when use high height scope mount? Any different and pro/cons with both?

High

Low

I am not so experienced airsoft player but part of my knowledge comes from my years with archery trainings. So take my words with a grain of salt ;).
What I know is your stance/body position greatly influence accuracy. I mean accuracy = repeatable body position. So the way you place your cheek to baka (upper stock part) should be same every time. And here comes personal preference. I prefer higher scope mount because my neck is more relaxed and I dont need to angle my head so much.
Ideally for me would be to base stock to my body and this automatically would place scope in the right place without unnecessary head movement.

I prefer high mount myself cuz of the goggles and mask that I wear, otherwise I cant even see into the scope.

I stick with the lowest I can get while still having enough clearance for the mask I use. In general, I find that for the platforms I have a 100ft MED for, the scope height really doesn't matter. On the other hand, I like very low profile mounts for my cqb setups.

Depnding on the scope, if you use a high scope mount, it still leaves you your iron sights depending on the application and the scope being used. Low rings are the better choice if possible as they do give a better line of sight to the barrel and of course have a lower profile. I've used both on airsoft and real steel, just depends..

Seem high mount good for google/mask. Since I have fog issues when use glasses. Tried some method but it only stand for 30-60 mins, after that it fogging ( my country is hot and high moisture ). I will try high mount + google when I have more budget xD.

Thanks all.
