PDI Barrel VS Maple Leaf CJ?

Due to xfire's super sweet pricing, a PDI Barrel would be the same price as a Crazy Jet. But is it better? Any "testimonials"?

I was more so curious because the PDI thru xfire would only run me about 50 USD

For which gun, running which bucking?

If the gun is overvolumed, I'd definitely go with the CJ.

If not, then it's mostly a matter of if you want to use a drop-in kit such as ML Wonder / Mr hop with the Crazy Jet or get into a R-hop with the PDI. Performance will be top notch in both, and I wouldn't expect any difference at all. That is, if you manage to make the r-hop work.

Let me clarify. I'm close to selling my DMR and once I do, I'll be buying a bolty. I think the VSR is a good choice, and so I've been browsing parts. On xfire, the 300 mm is about $50 and the 430 mm is about $63. Still a great deal. I would like to do a Maple Leaf bucking, but am not completely opposed to doing R hop I it is required for max performance. I'm also curious about interchangeability with Raven and PDI parts (I know they're both under PDI). Will a PDI piston work with a Raven cylinder? I could save myself some money if I bought the Raven cylinder and ditched the synthetic (delrin I think) piston that comes with the kit and opted for the vacuum seal PDI piston. Are any of the parts I've listed thus far good? Sorry if I'm straying from the thread I created a bit.

Don't bother with interchanging. If you are going to put some "premium" PDI in then bite down hard and order it all because your future self would thank you for it and you'll get the advantage of combined postage.

X-Fire prices are genuinely brilliant but do double check first that your country/state won't charge you import tax.

For performance, an R-Hopped stainless PDI barrel is going to rule them all. If you have a "large" volume to play with then look at maybe a 6.05?
Definitely get a 430mm though, a 6.03 in a VSR shooting 0.43's is one of the best combinations I have ever come across and you can even adapt G-Spec models so the barrel sits in the suppressor (supported with a SBA spacer of course).
