TNT airsoft upgrade kit for Kar98

Hey everyone. Just curious on this upgrade kit I found. Could this make a kar98 usable? Does it include a 90 degree piston/sear (not explicitly labeled)? Will it work in a dboys k98? Thanks!

Swit, and others, really seem to like TNT. I personally have not had good experiences with their products. I know others feel similar at least in the VSR forum. I have also heard their barrels are plated rather than actual stainless steel (not that it necessarily matters to performance).

If there is no other option for the Kar 98 and you really want to make it shoot better, it may be worth a shot if the price is right to you.

dboys, don't think so as shell ejecting.
90 degree sear, yes
works well and tnt is a good company. only problem for kar98 may be replacement bucking

I think it may be a vsr10 bucking as can not find replacement on tnt website.

It takes VSR buckings. The TNT kit is probably not needed. I unbridged the barrel in mine and installed a Maple Leaf Autobot rubber, it shoots like a laser now and reaches 65-70m (warning, google maps measurements, it might be off some) with 0.40g while shooting a measly 1.5 joules. It's more than enough power for WW2 games where no one wears a face mask. Accuracy-wise, it's almost as good as my tuned VSR10. Seriously, the stock hop-up rubber is pure crap, it's the only thing holding this rifle back. I've rarely seen stock rifles that are so accurate.

Also, note that if you want to replace the inner barrel, it doesn't take VSR barrels, the cut for the hop-up unit is not in the same place, it looks like it uses generic GBBR barrels, but I haven't tried it myself.
