Green Gas or Butane Gas?

So I have a KJ Works Mk1 pistol that I have been using. Anyway I have downgraded it to shoot only 0.95 joules on Green Gas.
Just for fun I thought that I would empty out the mag fully and then put in some butane gas and lone behold it was shooting about 1.05 joules. I thought that butane was meant to be lower pressure?
Now Green Gas cost more and it also comes in a bigger can that can be a pain in the behind to carry. The Butane gas can is a great size.
What are the disadvantages of Butane Gas in pistols? It would be great to use Butane if I can.

Weird, butane is way lower pressure than propane, and green gas is propane.

And I mean way lower pressure.

Propane has about 10 bar at 30C, while butane only has 2 bar at the same temperature. Or 140PSI vs 30PSI at 86F, for anyone in the US.

Butane is not suitable for use in gas guns, as most of them have a lower working pressure limit of about 60PSI / 5 Bar.

Are you sure you're running butane and not pure propane / a propane-butane mix there?

So I have found the issue. I only fired about 5 rounds out of the pistol. It worked great. Anyway, I just shot another shot, the 6th and the bb curved downward. The seventh hit the ground really fast and the 8th did not even load.
So I guess not enough pressure. Like you said.

The hammer spring has to overcome that pressure to press the valve, so you're releasing a greater volume of gas with the butane set-up. If your shots with butane are higher FPS at the beginning of the fill then I think your hammer/valve combo with green gas isn't releasing enough gas, and that you're undervolumed (as hard as that is for an nbb/gbb).
