TM L96 full PDI expectations

Hey guys I have a TM L96 and am wondering what kind of performance I can expect from a full PDI upgrade? The TM L96 and VSR are both low FPS because of the Japanese gaming restrictions but still have great accuracy. Would the PDI trigger, spring and cylinder with a TBB and upgraded hopup likely keep the same accuracy but at a higher FPS and increased range?

I ask specifically about going the full PDI route as I believe it can have compatibility issues with other brands sometimes if mixed and matched

R-hop etc. out of the equation as that will be done irrespective of the parts I get

hmmm I guess no one has any experience with that setup?

The reason I ask is because no one seems to make a spring above M140 for this rifle and I want to know if that will be enough to get it up t0 500 FPS because I don't think it will...

With my current setup, even with the firefly hopup heavily engaged and 0.36 bbs, and madbull 6.03 barrel, I am really struggling to get any kind of decent accuracy and consistency at a distance of 200feet (60 meters). I am currently getting round 350 FPS with 0.2g bbs, which is very low considering my field cap is 500. Now I know FPS is not everything, especially when it comes to distance and accuracy and I don't really expect to be able to be so consistent beyond this range but if I can't compete at this distance at least, then I really have no advantage over any average aeg on the field.

Not: This gun requires a shorter spring because of it's loading system. Is anyone successfully using a higher powered spring that they have cut down?

FPS does NOT mean distance!
People need to do more research.

Keep it under 450fps with high quality internals (PDI would be a fantastic choice).
Put in a decent bucking PDI W-hold or RHOP and a high quality barrel in the 6.05 range.
Shooting north of 500fps just increases your chance for flyers.

I agree, also diy hop up mods will be your best friend. 6.03 tbb will do just as good to. You can have a rifle shoot under 400fps and outshoot the higher fps rifles with the right hop up settings and shooter ability.
