I never washed mine (.36 and .40)
The story is that I was eye-shopping on WGCSHOP.com and ran into them, and bought them just to try them out on January 2015.
They arrived in about a week, I tried them out (idk, maybe 100-200 rounds each or so), and they were pretty good.
I re-sealed them and put them in the storage bin, where I keep all my BBs.
Fast forward five months, I opened them up again on June 2015 and that's when I noticed that they had expanded.
I think its specific to these weights, as I also have BBKing's .20 and .23 and they were fine - these are couple years old, in fact.

Yip. That sounds about right. Most of the BB King BB's I have had are great.

I have heard about this expansion happening from other users. Seems a shame as they appear to be ok to begin with.
