I purchased the R93 LRS1 and I used it for a while, but I have a slight problem with it now. The ram on the gun is all the way back and when you push it in, it is super hard to push in and doesn't latch forwards, in order to fire. I've been looking around and I just can't find anything that talks about anything like this. Help? Advice?

Hi everyone! I'm helping a friend upgrading his r93, but i have some doubts about the spring guide and spring dimensions.
in my local store they have proprietary king arms' metal spring guide and proprietary springs m170 and m180 that's too hot for me. i'm already going to replace the cylinder with the reinforced one, but can you suggest to me which spring/spring guide are compatible with the r93? aps? Type96? aps-2? vsr? keep in mind that i should use a m150 or m140. ps. what about the stoc hopup bucking? is it fine? i apologize for the dumb question but i'm not very prepared on this topic:D! |

Hello, this is my first post on this forum. I'm looking to upgrade my cylinder, as well as my spring and the trigger box.
Does anyone know of any sites that are selling them? Or could I contact King Arms to see if they carry any? |

I just purchased a Reinforced Trigger Box here: King Arms Reinforced Trigger Set for R93 Blaser Airsoft Spring Sniper Rifle - Hero Outdoors
I understand the parts for this gun are incredibly scarce, so I wanted to share in case someone else wants to still use this awesome rifle. I e-mailed King Arms directly and asked for the 550FPS Cylinder Assembly. From what I see, it comes with all the upgraded parts too- the piston, piston seal, spring guide, and of course the spring. They were really quick getting back to me. The reinforced Trigger helps use springs M170 and higher, so I'm anxious to see if my scrawny arms can pull back a spring that allows higher than 550 (with .20's) Although, I plan to use .35's for the accuracy |

Update: The rep at King Arms made a mistake, and they only had the KA-PA-17, the cylinder. Not the whole kit. To think I'd be so lucky...

Edit* This is all conscerning the first generation of the KA R93, NOT the newer version. In the newer version the barrel is fluted, and the rear of the receiver moves with the bolt.
To my understanding there has never been any hopup replacement for this rifle. There are a few solutions I can give to you however. For the hopup adjustment slider, just TDC your hopup. The way the receiver breaks down, it is increibly easy to TDC, the barrel is tapered above the hopup however, so beware of that, I reccomend using JB-Weld on a nut above the barrel, its strong and can fix the leveling issue. For the arm itself, it would take a lot of work to make an actual arm, but if you TDC the rifle, you can use a flat arm. Simply find a rectangular piece of hard platic, file until fitted to the chamber, drill a hole sized for the retaining pin, and install. You should not even need to shim the arm if it is fitted properly. I used my rifle for a bit with the screw from the TDC putting pressure straight onto my eraser flat nub, I had great results. As for the C-Clip, i snapped mine, the only replacement you can get is 3d printing one yourself. It may be possible to file down a standard rifles C-Clip to fit the smaller size gap, it should do the trick. If you teflon tape or dental floss mod your bucking, it should keep your barrel from sliding around as well. This is not only cheap, but these modifications will help your rifles consistency as well, it will also be a lot better than having to buy an entire new rifle. If you have any questions, just message me. Hopefully this works for you and happy sniping. Last edited by JustASimpleSniper; 04-19-2017 at 07:51 PM. Reason: Fixing formatting |

A true newbie with real questions
I just bought a at least second hand r93 unit I assume is first gen cause of the chin rest is adjustable. I am missing obvious parts like the piece on the lower rail for a bipod. I also was told I was missing the bolt but not to worry is only $5. Lol. I am having trouble understanding what I am missing with bolt/ slide and what goes forward. I also can get prices for anything. My trigger doesn’t look all plastic does that mean it might be upgraded? Any suggestions on what I can read or seee pics of so I can see if this a good project for my son and I. For sakes the scope thatsnon it it does even have cross hairs. Please help!!!
