J-hop was abandoned because of the fact it is basically a soft R-hop.
It has no advantages and is unreliable.
The follow-up shot is just important as the lead.

Actually, The Builder found that liquid e-tape is a great j-hop material. I am going to try using it soon, as I have one of those arrow shafts coming in so I can make a barrel out of it.

i know is a old post but i will help with a little info for those who will try j-hops
for j-hop material i use sikaflex 11fc+ is a hard silicone a 37shore, i use in a 3 joule build so far more then 2000bb and still work great, typical silicone has 15 shore and so wore much faster.

-custom supressor-3d printed
-custom hop up system-3d printed
-custom spacer barrel-3d printed
-lapped 470mm specna arms SS barrel
-PPS mb01 upgrade kit 90degree piston, replaced sorbo with a silicone cone (shore 35)
-3joule with 0.45bbs
-trigger box (when it brake i will change it )
-range indoor 90m torso target probably go further but didnt have the space.
- so far ~2000bbs
