Maple Leaf has an AEG MR HOP!!!!!

I was looking through Airsoft Atlanta for any deals, since I was buying a sniper and some parts, and I saw this beautiful bucking. Maple leaf has made and MR Hop for AEG's! I'll have to try it in my M14 since it needs a new bucking anyways!

Yup, picked 2 up the other day, 50° hardness, along with 2 GBB/VSR ones and a bunch of Omega nubs and I-Keys

One is going into my E&L 74u (once I get the bloody outer barrel off) and the other will go into my ARP-9 :)

This evening/Tomorrow I'll test it on the ARP with weights up to 0.4 and see how it fares

I'm using 50 degree one with 410mm crazyjet GBB barrel in my P* M4 for few months now and it shoots like a dream. Probably the best combo I've used in my rifle.

Will the VSR one work with a Lambda barrel?

if it's the VSR unbridged one, yes.
if it's the bridged VSR, no, you'll need to remove the bridge.
if it's the AEG barrel, no, you'll need the AEG rubber.

So, I put the AEG one in my ARP, it does lift 0.3s like nothing at 0.7J and sends them at at least 55 metres.
As soon as I replace the cylinder to fix the volume (really undervolumed atm) I'll test it again, but results seem promising so far!

Also haven't noticed any difference between the MR and the decepticon on my Striker so far, but again I fired 10 BBs.

More extensive test of the 2 rubbers will follow on Sunday (0.28/0.3/0.32/0.4g BBs)

Tested 0.28s today, haven't sorted the air seal yet.
Tiny bit of holdover got me 60 metres-ish. Very consistent too!

yes, the Omega nub, with a spacer between that and the arm because for some reason without it the unit doesn't apply enough hop.

Does anyone own a MAXX hop unit to test these in?
I'm really curious as I'm planning out my first DMR

Unfortunately I do not. Version 7 gearbox M14 means a proprietary hopup unit..... Very sad indeed.

Of the experience I have so far with the AEG one (macaron) they are certainly better than stock, but far from perfect. I know that a lot of people live the autobot, but I have not tested that. From what people say, it's like 95% of an RHop. But........ It takes considerably less time.
