How strong does net have to be?

I'm getting more net to try to make another ghillie. This one will be just net and jute, and will slip on over my BDU like a light shirt (I haven't worked out the fine details yet, like how I'll keep it on).

Basically, I want to know how strong you guys think net should be. I can get this net which is 90 sq ft and has a string breaking strength of 80lb, or this net which is 180 sq ft and has a string breaking strength of 35-40lb.

More net to play with is nice but at the same time I don't know if I'm in any danger of breaking it. Any opinions?

Alright. It is 2" net, so the reason I ask is because it isn't a very tight weave, and if something tugs on it only one or two strings will be taking the full force. I guess 35-40lb break strength is enough.

i am having cat-net (translation lol) it is for cats who can get on the balcony so they won't fall down and stuff like that, it's made of synthetic product which won't rot and believe me it won't rip, your vest will rip faster before the net get's fucked
this is what i used: Bijtvast Katten-Beschermnet met Draadversterking | zooplus.nl
15 euro's and i had plenty of netting for my stalker suit^^

I just checked the surface area of that net compared to the nets I found, and both are much more cost effective than the one you found, so I'll be sticking to mine. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I'm not going to be getting it for another few weeks, so if I find something even better, I'll take it. I don't think I will though.
