What Scope?
Just got my TM VSR-10 GSpec for Christmas and i am faced with the difficult decision on which scope to buy. I didn't find a lot on the forums about it so I figure I would ask. Thanks in advance!

A great airsoft scope is the AIM 3-9x40 Illuminated scope. I got one for $40 from Evike. Mine is the rubberized version. I do not recommend the rubberized version as it is thicker so scope rings, sunshades, ect.. don't fit..

I use a Tasco rifle scope (3-9x40). It works great.

I personally use one of these:
NCS 2.5x30 Scope with 20mm Mount Rings - Zero One Airsoft Even though it's set at a low magnification (2.5x) I find it easier for target acquisition since I can see more than I would with a higher magnification scope. Also it's more compact than a normal scope so it is easier to conceal than a bulkier high magnification scope would be. Only issue I've had is finding lense protectors to fit it - so far I've got by with a bit of mesh cut to shape and attached with camo tape. |

UTG 1" 3-9X50 AO True Hunter IE Scope w/Zero Locking/Reset WE, Rings & Sunshade, Accessories & Parts, Scopes & Optics, Illuminated Scopes - Evike.com Airsoft Superstore
UTG 3-9x50 with locking rings. This scope is amazing on many different levels including 36 colors of backlighting on your reticle (in case you like pink and lime green and stuff like that lol) as well as locking rings with tool-less adjustment of your windage and elevation. All around great scope, bit pricey, but you will never give it up.

I run a Nikko Stirling 3-9x40. Very nice brand on a budget. I've tried their 3-9x50 but found it rather cumbersome, personally.
Looking back, if I were to buy another scope I wouldn't worry too much about magnification. I find myself using 3x the majority of the time and 5x at a push. I wouldn't be overly concerned about illumination either as I practically haven't used it once. |

A quality 4x scope would be just as good.

Agreed, 4X is the way to go. I have a UTG Tactical 4X40 scope that has been a real champ. Unfortunately it is no longer available. UTG has a 4X32 that may work well for you needs.
I have an M1 replica that I picked up from Evike, do you have a link to the M4 replica?

I use the Strike System Scope 3,5 - 10 x 50e advanced. You don't need a screwdriver to adjust it which I find useful.
