New Toy

I walked into my office this morning and found a surprise, what could it be?!

Oh my, how did this get through customs?? :D

Canít wait to get her home and slip her out of this stock and drop my VSR-X in. Hopefully the screws are the same length as the TM VSR-10 or I will have to get some new stock screws.

New Toy

Now that I have had this rifle for a few days, I thought I would give my initial impression. Overall I give this a 3.5 out of 5 straight out of the box, the stock gets a solid 5 out of 5, but the T10 its self only scores a 3 out of 5 in my book.

The T10 is a great base for upgrading, but there are a few parts that will need replacing. Maybe mine needs more break in time, but the bolt pull feels grindy & the outside of the cylinder is not perfectly smooth, I think this is why it feels grindy. If this wasnít the 5th VSR in my collection, I would definitely toss a Teflon cylinder in there with a metal piston & metal spring guide.

The stock bolt handle feels like plastic, but that is due to the paint, you can tell its metal but most likely weak & probably wonít hold up to a strong spring (170 & over). I am not a fan of the surgeon style bolt handles to begin with, in my experience they stick out too far & cause issues with some hard cases not being able to shut fully.

The trigger is ok, but again the paint makes the trigger feel like plastic to me. Other than that itís fine and should last a long time, Iím just a trigger snob at this lol

Now letís talk about the stock since that is all I care about & I am sure most of you want an AAC T10 for the stock, and could care less about the rifle its self.

The AAC T10 stock is amazing. Whatever your expectation of this is, it surpasses it. Period.

Now I am a big fan of the plain-Jane Marui/JG stocks, but my issue is that I am 6í1 and have long arms with large hands. My hand tends to hang off the bottom of the grip a bit so I can have my trigger finger in the perfect position to apply pressure, & I feel a little scrunched when shouldering a Marui stock. The T10 stock has gone a long way to address these issues, you can add spacers to the grip but itís not necessary & you can add spacers to the butt pad to increase length of pull (man I love this stock).

The grip, oh man the GRIP! It has a very nice palm swell, and is noticeably thicker than a plain VSR stock. Plus the pistol grip is large enough for my fingers to fit perfectly; it just feels sooo comfy to hold on to this rifle! I am planning on picking up the Type B grip so I will provide an update on how that works for me.

One thing I did not count on was the balance, I had falsely assumed the rifle would be very front heavy, but it is not! :D It actually helped balance out my VSR-X upper a little bit! My rifle is very long with a 430mm EDGI bull inner barrel with matching bull outer barrel, plus a G-Spec suppressor so there is a lot of weight pulling my rifle forward and down, but I donít really notice it with the T10. Maybe itís the way I am holding the T10 or maybe it just sits more comfortably in my shoulder, but I did notice a slight balance improvement.

Another benefit over the TM stock is the dummy mag, when I put a spare mag inside, the dummy mag is rock solid and provides another place to grip the rifle at. Since itís a dummy mag, holding onto it will not cause any feeding issue or put stress on the hop unit. I normally just put my hand under where the mag inserts, but I noticed the dummy mag is rock solid so I thought I would mention this.

Lastly, the cheek riser, I love this feature too! Now as some of you know, I am pretty much a chairsofter that takes absurd pleasure murdering cans in the backyard. Since 97.5% of the time I will not have a face mask on, the cheek riser is a very nice touch. It feels very comfy and itís nice to be able to dial in my cheek riser, & have a perfect line of sight down the scope every time. This honestly is competing for my favorite feature, I love the palm swell & adjustable length of pull, but the perfect line of sight is sooo nice.

OK I am done gushing about this stock! Go out and orders yours right now, DO IT! You will not regret it, I promise. Just make sure to ship EMS so the package spends the least amount of time in US customs & has the highest chance to fly under the radar.

I hope I am a bad influence, and this encourages someone to order this beauty!

I have the same rifle. I will be giving you a run for the money getting some add ons. Already hitting 14" steel blade at 50meters. Sure I am not going to have a problem at 100m. Will be pisting results from 50 to 200m soon.Cold weather might be causing problems. I might paint my stock like this.

I hadnít thought of it before, but maybe Iíll get the stock hydro dipped down the road. Give it some kind of crazy pattern or make it a wild psychedelic trip. Yep now all I can think of is this stock in some colors or with a Louis Vuitton pattern lol! It may make me look like a boujee ass wangster, but the rifle would be bad!

Lol LVs might actually blend somewhat well in my area bahahaha!
