The two holes in the black metal insert should line up with the 2 longer bolts

yeah i had them lined up wrong but now my hop up and barrel arent seating in the out barrel all the way. also i got my g spec silencer adapter stuck on the end of the outer barrel and i think that's why. fun first time upgrading. wish i had some electric pliers or a vice to grab on to the barrel to try and twist it off.

any advice to get the adapter off or how to get the inner barrel and hop up to seat correctly with it still on?

Try chilling it to shrink the metal. Then rapidly apply hot water and pull to attempt to loosen the two.

The adapter, once free, will likely need to be drilled out so the inner barrel will fit without binding up.

what do you mean by binding up accurate?
EDIT: put the outer in the freezer for a bit to try that cold to hot method you talked about will update in around 5-10mins.

Pictures from the above post didn't show earlier. Yea... That's a tough one. Probably a rubber mallet, something to hammer between the barrel and hammer to push the barrel and hop unit back out, and some patience.

i have the barrel and hop unit out i cant get them to seat all the way through i think its because the outer barrel is too short and with the adapter stuck there being too small for the barrel i wont be able to seat it without drilling it wider. guess i gotta buy a small drill set now.

That's a cheap fix. Even I had to drill my G spec outer barrel out to fit the 430mm barrel I run.

what drill bit size did you use, and i guess ill have to make some adjustments to the gspec silencer to get it fit now right?

also would some type of sanding kit work with a rough grit i could probably sand off enough metal to widen it without using a drill i dont have much use for a drill in the future but i could easily find uses for a good sanding/rotary kit.

You don't have to modify the suppressor typically. What you can do is remove some of the foam and use masking tape to make a makeshift barrel spacer in the suppressor. You don't have to, but since that foam won't be silencing anything if its around the barrel before the muzzle, stabilizing the barrel should improve your accuracy.

9-10mm usually will do it on the hole. You could try using a hand file... The drill will take 2 seconds though.
