I'm building a vsr 10 g spec and I'm installing the custom springer works s trigger 9.2, piston, and spring guide. I'm trying to find a reliable 170 spring to work with the set up. I'm thinking action army (as I've kept reading that some springs dont work to well with the setup. All knowledge is appreciated, thanks guys.

Look at mother post. I got a bunch more parts I'm installing. I just listed these because they relate directly to the spring. I've been out of the airsoft game for a while and I just wana know what spring will fit with the piston and trigger setup and will have the most longevity.

Agreed. I run RAPAX and have run SBA springs as well in my VSR.

Both are excellent springs, but the with the RAPAX you can usually get around 1J more of force and it won't be any harder to pull than the weaker SBA spring. That is, they're easier to pull than any other spring I've tried for the force they produce.

I run a WASP piston and guide for both of those brands of springs. You can use spacers like Sodium mentioned or change the piston weight to fine tune the power.
