Action army vs crazyjet

I'm looking to move from a zci aeg barrel that's rhopped to a mrhop and either a action army or crazy jet barrel. What's better and is it really worth paying 2x the price for crazy jet?

Also I finally got airseal and had to down grade from a m170 that i was shooting 2.8j to a m150 and had to cut a few coils off the m150 to get it down to 2.8j. As a result I lost 40-50 feet on distance. Any help?

Thanks

I don't find it worth twice the price. I would highly recommend the action army barrels for the money. I would also look into a larger window barrel like the morpheus or modify barrels that just came out combined with a larger nub like the panthera or skeee though. But if the Mr hop nub is all you are using that's fine its one of if not the best ones out. Works perfect with aa barrel and omega nub etc.

In my experience, using the exact same build in every other aspect, the Crazy Jet provides tighter groups than the AA, but AA's are good enough, as barrels stand for < 10% of a rifle's accuracy (with the major factors being the bucking, bbs, power consistency, and the shooter).

But if your r-hop is working properly and you have perfect air seal, I don't see a reason to switch barrel or bucking.

If your r-hop isn't great, get a professional install. There are certain people out there, such as a few guys on reddit, and hopsystems (?), that have done so many they have it down to a science.

Thanks guys I thought Action Army was good enough. Everything I've used from them has been top.

I have no reason to suspect my rhop isnt performaning correctly but idk as I've never not had one. Bought the bar 10 and day replaced barrel, hop chamber and installed rhop. 2 yrs later re did the rhop and it seemed slightly better.

makes sense. It's always stressful not being able to see how other people's rifles are performing, so you really don't know if you are truly really your max potential.
