JG Bar-10 Build Help

Hi There so recently got a JG Bar-10 (first sniper after 5 years of airsoft) and am looking to upgrade it as best I can here's what I'm planning to upgrade
-Action army 90 degrees trigger unit
-Action army hopup chamber
-Action army M150 spring
-Action army 430mm 6.01 inner barrel
-Action army VSR10 spacers
-Maple leaf MR 70 degree bucking
-Maple leaf Omega nub

My knowledge of sniper is dwindling and would appreciate and advice i can get on anything i may also need or any changes to this upgrade plan or even anything that's necessary to cheapen the build
p.s the cheaper but still good quality the better not looking to spend hundreds
thanks alot

On an unrelated note I have a bunch of TM mags for my Hi caps 5.1 which have an issue where they don't push BBs into he lips meaning there's no BB to feed all the time I have lubbed them all several times and it still jams i have a feeling is the lips but i don't want that to be the case is anyone has any ideas that would be useful

The ramp that goes from the magazine to the bucking is part if the hop-up unit itself. Obviously it could be a bucking issue or a nozzle issue. If the replica doesn't load when the slide is fully retracted then it's probably one of these things.

I've had a better experience with SCW triggers. I'd go with one of their triggers and pistons instead of the action army setup.

I'm fairly certain its with the mags as even not loaded into the gun you can see BBs jamming. I've used a mates WE mags and it works perfectly as welll

Well you need to modify the spring guide stopper (AA Trigger box) if you use the original cylinder. Buy the AA Teflon Cylinder and you don't have to do any modifying.

Would that come with trigger unit or is that separate?

The Teflon Cylinder is not included in the AA S-Trigger set. You can get one for around 80$.

In my and others experience, the AA trigger sears are not locked in place and are at the wrong height sometimes, causing unnecessary grinding in the cylinder. This doesn't ever seem to be an issue with the SCW.

I had the AA latching nightmare too many times. With brand new out of the box AA triggers. I will never used one nor recommend one. Idc if they are “all better now” or you can make some adjustments. They are ruined for me lol. AirsoftPro all day for a budget build.

My SCW just arrived today, and I can say that the bolt pull on this compared to my laylax (which AA is a clone of) is night and day. The pull feels like butter

I can't seem to understand what people are doing wrong with the AA trigger. I say people because I have made many rifles with the AA trigger and it has never had an issue with the sears. They hold strong and well. I still use them and no issues.
The only issues I have ever had was the spring guide which is a 5 minute fix and after many, many rounds a spring may break. But it can be replaced with a pen spring. Easy as pie
In fact, once installed, the last time I had to take my VSR trigger apart must have been about 2 years ago. And I use my rifles a lot.

Of all the “bad eggs” I dealt with, I will admit one wasn’t the trigger. The piston wasn’t latching due to distance from the sear. It was intermittent though and I swapped out many parts and made MANY adjustments. Adding sorbo fixed it though because it was that little extra distance it needed. That’s on me for getting my ass kicked by that one.

HOWEVER, there was a handful of triggers I had, that didn’t latch that needed adjusting and shimming. Some new out of the box. I added washers for some, added a missing bolt/pin in the box itself; which I found out from AA themselves via Facebook message. All of those units worked after the adjustments and shimming.

It’s possible that myself or others are doing something wrong, but there honestly shouldn’t be much to bolting a trigger to the receiver and working with the matching piston it comes with. I think 1tonne, you’ve been doing this way longer, and truth be told like most things in production; they don’t make them like they used to!

What brand of receiver and cylinder are you using? Maybe there is some tolerance issues with some brands. I use either JG, WELL, TM or AA receivers and Either JG or AA cylinders.
I get rid of the WELL cylinders straight away.
