Unreliable hopup

I’ve been having some serious hop-up issues with my TM VSR10. It’s been really unreliable. It sometimes keeps veering left, then not enough hop or just fine, with out even adjusting it. My current set up is:
AA 430mm 6.01mm barrel
AA Cylinder
AA Spring guide, M150 spring, 45˚ Piston
Maple Leaf 75˚ bucking and scope mount
Angel Customs sears

Should I get an AA hope chamber? Will that fix the problem?

P.S. what benefits does a hopup chamber give? Isn’t it just how it touches the bucking.

Check the alignment of the barrel to the hop up bucking. It might have rotated a bit to the left or right when you installed it. Verify also if the nub was installed correctly. Also check the weight of your bbs. It might be too light for your set-up already and you might be needing heavier bbs. I have relatively the same problem with mine on a stronger spring but it is mainly because the bbs is now too light for my current set-up.

You are using the ML concave nub with the bucking right or are you using the stock hopup arm/nub? ML buckings need a concave nub. Sounds like your not using one.

The reason to upgrade your chamber, (typically for an AA chamber) as to get better airseal and to get rid of the dumb ass slide adjustment.

I also think your hopup bucking is too hard. Your bucking needs to break in. In my experience, any bucking over 70 needs to be broken in to work well. My ML Super Macaron in my M4 took close to 1000 rounds to start working right. Personally I would have gone with a 60.

What bbs are you using?

0.20g, that's what my field allows but they don't really check, cuz how can they

I have the maple leaf bucking with the metal air seal and the nub

Do you think .28 or .32 is good enough? or should I do .46 cuz I'd use the .28 or .32 for my pistol

Thanks for getting know! So correct me if I'm wrong, the only thing about the AA chamber is the metal arm?

Get the AA Chamber. Stock Chambers as they get older, or if you are using heavy weight bb's like 0.48gm tend to veer off to the left because the arm that slide back and forward in the hopup arm becomes weak and bends.

AA chamber has a metal arm. A really good air seal and a the arm is a top dead centre. Meaning the arm comes down perfectly straight.

Cool! The stock chamber has the arm touching got snub on the left or right correct?

Oh. I just had a look. It is not left. It creates a right hand curve. Sorry.

the stock chamber? What about the AA Chamber or is it that good?

AA chamber is good. It has TDC. So arm comes down straight
