Testing the waters for a mate

Hi all,

My mate has asked me to gauge interest in these.....

They are machined turned Anti-Blow-By Rings for the VSR hop rubber.

He is trying to fill the void left by noobie, but wants to gauge if its worth doing a mass production run or just turn out a few to sell locally.

Please post your thoughts, musings, general abuse, I'll have a pair orders here so that he can log-on and see the responses as he doesn't have an account here.

I would be keen but it depends on price.
What price is he looking at?

If he makes them one by one, or by 10s or something, he can make them as they are ordered like Ranger does with his pistons.

I've never felt the need for ABB rings but I know that a lot of other people love them. I think he should make a handful and try selling them on some of the major forums. If people start buying, mass produce, and if he gets the occasional sale then make them as they get ordered.

ABB (anti blow-by) rings basically stop the bucking from puffing out and letting air escape when you shoot. They keep the seal tight against the barrel and the cylinder head nozzle.

Now I could be wrong but I think the vsr and type 96 bucking have the same OD.
