So I have emailed them the specific part#s and asked if they had part# for the complete wiring harness assembly and hop up unit. They replied they did not, I would need to specify which ones I needed exactly and they would see what they have in stock. I replied last Wednesday with the part#s and circled them on the exploded view. I am yet to hear from them. No new is good new? Staying hopeful!

Y'know, as a guy who works in logistics (more logistics than actual machines these days), I marvel at the supply chain of the modern world. I can get a 3,000 lb diesel flown from Sweden in less time than that. hahahaha...BUT, finding the right diesel, man that can take days. :) It seems that with all this modern stuff it's taking longer than ever to figure anything out. I just spent four days working on sourcing replacement fork tines for a wheel loader. Ok, they're pretty specific pieces of kit, but still...it's a fork tine. Really?

Hang in there man...it's the new speed (or lack thereof) of doing business.

Some things like this do not make a ton of sense. I had a instance like this where we are a US distributer for an Italian company as part of our business and one of our customers Italian machines broke. The oem told us 8 weeks to get the part which was a pretty simple steel bracket. Of course 8 weeks just doesn't fly in the manufacturing industry. I talked to our local laser cutting source and I was able to reverse engineer, quote, local company laser cut, pick up, post process machine in-house, and ship out in 5 hours. Wild one company can manufacture a blank 8 weeks quicker than the OEM could ship us the in stock part. We have several sources like this where it can take 2weeks to get a "in-stock" part. Like you said, just plain wild and the nature of the beast.

Yeah, I hear ya loud and clear. We're in oil country..there's some very talented machinists in this part fo the world and we do the same thing. Broken pivot pins? Need bosses line bored? We don't even call the OEM anymore. Nope, the nice man shows up in his mobile unit and gets right to work. Like you say, hours instead of days...and in alot of cases when talking about machinery parts, the cost of fabrication is less than paying the freight to get it from Europe.

Alright! I got them ordered. KA got back with me on the 31rst with an invoice and I paid it today (missed the email due to it going to junk mail). Curious to see how quick it gets here (Ohio) from Taiwan. Might actually be before the end of the year!

Parts came super quick from tiawan! Arrived last Friday. Got hop up pieces (I don't need them but will be nice to have) but not the contacts (what I really need) lol! Going to contact them and see what is going on.

Quick response from KA. I was sent the wrong order. The right order is now on the way (I get to keep the I have so I may end up with an extra hop up unit!).
