I use old Alice pouches, but mags rattle inside a bit.

I just grabbed some double SR25 dmr pouches... the price is right so we’ll see if they work.

Just be careful that they aren't too deep, can be hard to get them out then.
I tried using the SR25 mag pouches I bought for my well.. SR25 but they were really tight and deep. Was a pain to get the m40 mags out of them. |

So I have been testing the rifle and things are going pretty well. I saw some differences in power output from the magazines (although all were pretty consistent, just different fps vs each other). I fixed this by opening and lubing each one. Now I'm sure I will have silicone in the barrel/hopup for a little while but at least it's gotten the power from each mag pretty consistent now. Really happy with the power output of this thing.
Regarding accuracy though, it is strange. I'm really not getting consistent results. Or in other words I am inconsistently consistent. It will shoot really well for a bit, and then it will have some fliers forcing me to adjust the hopup to correct. On other rifles, once the gun is dialed in, it really feels quite dialed in and doesn't need many changes. Perhaps this is due to the potential for silicon to have entered the bucking due to my re-lubing of the mags, but maybe not. I did clean the bucking well but it's hard to isolate aerated oil. Another area for these fliers and need to keep fiddling with the hopup could be the hopup chamber. I have an autobot 70* bucking and wiitech unit installed but also have the stock hop chamber in a bag to replace if needed. Given the winter weather and darkness I don't have a ton of time to swap parts and still make it outside in daylight to test so I was hoping to ask the group: Out of the owners of this rifle, have you compared the wiitech hop chamber against the stock unit? Does one seem to function better than the other? There are many reports lauding the accuracy of the gun with stock parts so if the consensus is that the stock hop chamber is fine I could switch back. Thanks for your help! |

I got same variable results, some shots are just right, then few will be shit and again the rifle shoots just fine.

was this with the stock or with the upgraded wiitech hop chamber? Also have you been able to improve the consistency to keep the bb's in the same spot through the full mag?

I got stock hop up chamber. The only inconsistency I see is the FPS, bbs are flying straight but the hop seems to be impacted by those ups and downs in the power.
