I repaired my echo1 m28!.......for now

Guys, my e1m28 was being dead for 3 years inside it's bag , until now!. I has already the JJ-airsoft PDI zero trigger clone on it But I never could make it work because I don't have a propper 90 degree piston, so what I did is just take the stock 45 degree piston and carved in to a 90 degree just in case!, and voila!!!, it did work!!!, But! For the safe of the function of the piston I only use the stock ( worn off) spring, I tested and the results are very good!, smooth pull of the bolt, the trigger release quick and crisp, the only thing is that some times the piston don't catch on the sear....I don't know why....But anyways Im happy with my sniper alive again!, so much so that I improve the gripping of the rifle (I have sweaty hands) with a stippling on it and works very well for my hands

Sounds great, just be careful with the spring, try not to exceed M145 or something like that.
Also, if you can I would suggest plastic pistons as they will wear out instead of the trigger, and if they do they are 1/3 the cost or so.
But, if you don't mind replacing the trigger on the future a metal piston would be a nice addition.

Yes, in fact I was thinking on make my own m28 piston with my design entirely made of stainless steel, and I need a stainless cylinder But that it's more difficult to do

Editor: the piston is some thing like that

That's awesome, maybe I'll have to do one too lol.
I would suggest one made from plastic or aluminum though, and just make the end piece of steel as heavy pistons need a heavy spring to get the same power as a regular piston.
I recommend that you aim for 45-65 grams, as that has proven to be ideal for myself as well as others.

I have the end steel 90 degree that it comes with the jj trigger, maybe I only need to attach it to the rear of the plastic piston, maybe could work! Xd

If you have access to a lathe, I would recommend different plastic, or aluminum if you don't have Acetal/Delrin to use.
I imagine it could work, but I don't think it would be very durable.
