Fully upgraded Maruzen type96 slam firing

So i have had this gun for 10+ years. I tood a decent break and started getting back into airsoft.

So i have a full k2 trigger system, laylax piston, spring guide, etc. only thing stock is the cylinder.

Ive taken appart the trigger 100 times to make sure its right. Its never had the safety stuff in it and thats never been a problem.

Now its started slam firing. Its not holding the piston back when cocking. It slam fired every time.

Any ideas? I dont see any wear on anything but the sides of the cylinder and the paint is worn down on the inside of the receiver from years of use.

Anyone got any ideas? Im getting super frustrated. I can get pictures of anything or video if i have too. The top catch sear seems like its working normal

Thanks

How long have you had the piston and also the trigger? Have your checked the trigger sear for a small curve in it (wear).

The piston is fairly new. The age of the trigger is old. Its had tons of shots through it at springs between sp150 and sp210

I have the oem maruzen sear and threw that in. It now functions mostly well. Its hard to close and open the bolt.

Im going to order a couple sears from HK and get a new cylinder i think. Angel ones can be had for $40 so I’m gonna try that. Theres probably 20k shots on that rifle.

The wierd thing is i dont really see any wear on the sear.

Oh well

Get the new sears and see how it goes from there.

Ordered 2x k2 sear 2 and 1x sear 1. That way i have spares in the future for super hard to get parts. Its weird having a trigger worth the same price as a really nice aeg lol.

Are you saying that the rifle is firing as soon as you let go of the bolt when you cock it because of so I am having the same issues and if you figure it out pls let me know

That is called slam firing. You can try to just change the sears if you are not aiming for a high end build but if you do want a high end rifle you will need to purchase a 90 degree trigger setup.
