Fast hop

So I installed the fast hop unit into my SRS covert today along with the TNT bucking, TNT aeg barrel and prowler nub, I'm getting a consistent 314-318 fps on .45g bb's.
The bucking looks like its centered well in the barrel and when I add more hope I can see the concave nub pretrude more so all looks OK.
The issue i have is soon as I go to 3 on the hop dial its jams, 2 on the dial is fine.
Anyone else had this, it doesnt give much option to adjust my hop if I can only use 0, 1 and 2.
I might not need to but I need to range test it to truly see what the trajectory is like.

I have the exact same set up and get the same issue, it ranges well enough for me while skirmishing so its not been a major issue so far but I feel like I should have more control and not just 0, 1 and 2.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this issue then.
What range are you getting (roughly)
I could put one of the silverback bucking n nubs in but the TNT buckings aren't cheap for what they are so seems crap to not be able to use it.
I cant see what I can do differently to fix this issue so it must just be how it is? Seems a bit crap to me.

Sadly tnt for srs is crap in general... Cant really do nothing with it. Best solution probably replace the rubber with and sba, 70° for example, if you want to keep the tnt barrel.
If its not the rubbers fault the nub is simply too thick, and the sba stock nub solves the problem.

Tbh I never got to go over setting 4 with my fast setup, but I use rhop.

Maybe you could put a layer of tape on top of the bucking inside the hop window?
It would change the pressure of the nub, so maybe you could have more settings to fine tune a bit more.

I guess I could try one of the srs silverback nubs I have laying around and if that doesn't fix it I could try the silverback rubber, think its the 70 degree one.
The guns fps is fine, about 10 fps under the limit for .45s n its consistent. I guess I really need to range test it to see what its actually doing, just didn't want to wait to game day to do it n then find its shooting like crap.

I had a similar setup:
- Fast hop unit
- TNT S+ 420mm barrel
- 60 and 70 SBA buckings
- SBA, Tigra, Prowler, Chub Nub and FOW nubs

At the end I ditched the TNT barrel, I was having a lot of problems with it.
My best results with the FAST chamber were with 60deg SBA bucking and FOW nub.

Now I have a Lambda Five 420mm barrel and Maxx SRE hop chamber with 60 SBA rubber and all works as expected. I use the standard 4mm hop arm.

By the looks of it, MAXX is probably the best option for chambers.
As for TNT products, overrated electroplated brass barrels.
Nothing really beats a PDI or other decent and well known barrel.

Ok so this is a stupid question but I am new to airsoft and sniping but my nub, do I install it with the flat part going resting on the bucking or the concave part? I have a feeling I have it set with the flat bottom part on the bucking n the arm on the concave part. Is this wrong? 😞

I think you are asking what position a nub goes in, you see, there is usually a 2-3mm half moon notch on your hop arm, and that small bump on the nub sits in that notch.

Ok, I'm sure that's what I have done. Good to know I wasn't being a retard lol.
Appreciate the reply. Think I may try other nubs to see if I can resolve the fast hop issue of it jaming on setting 3 on the dial. If that fails I'll have to try a different bucking.

Ok so an update, I changed the nub from the prowler to the silverback nub, I kept the TNT bucking and barrel in place and I can now use upto 5 on the fast hop wheel before it jams. Better than jamming on 3.
I'm getting about 317 on .45g bbs.
What type of ranges are people getting with their different set ups?
I used my golf range finder to some trees outback of my house which are about 55 mtrs away, that seems a flat trajectory tho it looks like it may dip just at the end, so hard to tell how far it's really going.
To me that's not the greatest I could have.
I'm not sure now wheater to go back to original barrel, silverback bucking/nub and fast hop or stick with the tnt barrell, tnt bucking, silverback nub and fast hop.
Any ideas people?

Well thats barely more than 2J, you cant really expect more than 65-70m aimed range with that.

Tbh I know it feels shit that its wasted money, but tnt has nothing better than the stock parts.

I would suggest that you try the original setup, just to compare things and see if the TNT parts are even worth it lol
