SUPER Viper (ghillie suit foundation)

Thinking bout getting one of these. Would be worth it? It loos expensive for the price but I might be able to get one for free. Lastly has any1 found by green ones?

Ordered one(camel brown color) week ago. Expensive, yes. If you can get it for free... you are just lucky.

I have a couple of them (one brown and one green), and I absolutely love them. Totally worth the price, and while you can manage to make your own viper hood, the quality of the material you purchase, added with the comfort of the hood, it is well worth the hole in the wallet.

Highly recommend getting one. You can modify it too when you get it to extend it to more of a full coverage suit. Possibilities are endless with it. I run one with a set of netting that can be attached/detached to offer more coverage then just the standard hood does.

Can I still wear my vest (m4 pouch holder) or would it get in the way of the back buckles?

I prefer sewing my own, but buying may be more trusted. And yes, I run viper hood with some of my teammates over all our gear. Some wear plate carriers, some wear backpacks, some, like me, will wear chest rigs and packs under them. They're perfect for any kit, sniper or non-sniper.

That's what makes them so great. I run a chest rig underneath, and the viper hood is put on after, and does not get in the way at all. Can access all my gear without hassle, and with the chest rig underneath, there are no straps sticking out over top like there would be if you ran your ghillie attached to your BDU's.

It sits higher on the back. There is practically no drape which hangs down. Perfect for any pack I've ever worn, and packs are necessary for my p*. Also because it uses such little material you can store it anywhere no problem. I'm able to fit mine in a bdu sized pocket, with jute.
