You know what grinds my gears? A weak day of airsofting.
Ok, so it was the second day out of school, and there was a big airsoft game happening that night. It was just a game with some friends of mine along with some other high school kids, totaling up to be about 25 people. Apparently, the older high school guys wanted to all be on a team (this is when I was a freshmen) versus us young guns. I was phsyched. This was going to be fun. The whole week I asked my friend "what rifle you using" and whats the other guys got. He said mp5, I asked manufactured by who? He said he did not know. I was slightly worried by this, but I let it go. My spotter, rolling with a echo 1 g36, and I with my stock UTG mk96 (had not been upgraded yet...keep that in mind) showed up to the game. I saw these plastic see through rifles like the ones you see at wal mart everywhere. They looked at me as I loaded my m17 gas sidearm and thought I was nuts. Meanwhile they loaded their spring pistols. They all had cheap single shot shotguns, and fake red dots (no function). In fact, one guy had two mags in his pocket that were FAKE! They did not even serve a purpose besides for display. I felt like leaving but decided to stay.
So the game begins. I go into a tree line, see a guy, and take a shot. "Pop" right in the chest. Second shot, hits another guy in the chest. Next, all twelve or so guys on their team just run back to the base and say "stop stop!"
I go up to them, since the game was over, and said whats the problem, is someone hurt? They respond "some dudes got a gas sniper rifle. I said, "who cares if he does? " Then they go "hey its you that has one."
I just looked at them and told them its bolt action, spring powered, and not upgraded, and they would not believe me. I even said who cares if I did have gas anyways?
Long story short, I literally ended a game against about twelve people with two shots. How sad is that. Imagine if one of you maruzen boys showed up
