I was wondering, because I live in an environment where the colors change with the season, if I could make a ghillie using thermochromic dye, or something like that, to make it a little like cabellas color phase camo, which changes from green to brown as the temperature changes. I was thinking of using a color phase shirt, cutting it up, and using it in the place of burlap on my ghillie. Would this work?

While it does sound like a great idea, I would question how effective it would be verses just grabbing different fabrics. Usually for full color change the temperatures has to be quite drastic otherwise it's just going to look like a weird color blob that might stand out. But I could be wrong.

If you have the option to I would get a sample size and do a single strip and test how hot/cold it has to be to change and how it will look.
