Hello, I need a little help fixing my rifle. I just got the Classic Army M24 LTR a week ago, and it is a nice gun but it is having some troubles, and I think maybe one of you airsoft sniper veterans can help.

My problem is that bbs keep getting trapped in the space between the hop up and the cylinder head. To be more specific, when I pull back the bolt to load a bb, bbs tend to roll back through the hole the nozzle goes through and get trapped (this doesn't happen if I tilt the barrel toward the ground). I can't keep the gun level when I'm loading (didn't seem to have this trouble the first few days).
Annoyingly, when this happens I have to take apart the gun to get the bbs out.

If you guys can help find a fix, that would be greatly appreciated. This is my first airsoft sniper rifle, and I don't want to be turned away from airsoft sniping just because of this one problem!

Thanks in advance!

Not a pro on the CA M24 ltr, (quick look it seems to be a recently released gun) I would bet the BB retainer is the cause. It is likely deformed or something.

Edit: It is a recent gun, that is 95% VSR compatible. So yes it is the BB retainer.

Edit2: You could get one of these, or drill a divot into the existing one. http://www.evike.com/products/53263/

The one I linked. Though you would be better off replacing the whole chamber, if it truly is a VSR, with an Action Army chamber.

Then its down to 90% then. The trigger mounting holes are in a different location. So you would need to drill and tap new holes for a replacement trigger. (Or have Springer make you one that fits...)

That is exactly what I was talking about. Stock internals typically cannot handle high FPS.

However, I do not own an LTR so this is mostly a combination of quick searching and hear-say from people with them.

Nineball or Maple Leaf autobot. If you keep with your stock chamber and arm then the nineball. If you mod it, then ML.
