Got my hands on the new, supposedly lower power, ASP springs.

Setup:
ASP cylinder/piston/9mm springguide, 1 sorbo pad
Rhop set for .36
ASPUK cylinder head
555mm barrel
43g piston

.........0.2 0.28 0.43 0.5 0.89
M130 136 122 102 94
M140 157 141 118 109
M150 171 155 130 120
M160 185 166 142 132
M170 187 170 151 140 107
Notes:
They are still overpowered, even if used in an average gspec.

The M170 spring was ridiciously hard to pull compared to the others. I don't think my rifle was sealing or delivering energy properly with it. It shoots 5J with 0.50/0.89, but i'm confident this could be way higher with a heavier piston in this setup and/or better airseal.

555 mm is too long for many of the heavyweights you'rebusing though. This is an inaccurate representation, a normal barrel length would be 300-430 mm for those weights.

That being said, nice data :)

Thanks for the data, indeed!
Because of your data, I could choose way better which springs to buy for my setup :)

So I did buy an M130, M140 and M150 for the ASPro TriggerSet for my Well MB03.
It was a disaster... Kind of, at least.
I think it may be due to the inner diameter of the stock cylinder.

The Kit works great but the enery output due to the heavy Piston (40.25g instead of 20.8g from the stock Piston) is extremely low.
I measured 2.11j @0.20g with the stock piston and 1,68j with ASPro.
To be fair: when I measured with 0.43g BBs I had 2.36j (ASP) and 2.09j (stock).

Same goes for their Springs (measured with ASPro Internals in the cylinder):

Original (~M140, 7mm): 1.68j@0.2 and 2.36j@0.43
M130 ASP: 1.33j@0.2 and 1.88@0.43
M140 ASP: 1.84j@0.2 and 2.45j@0.43
M150 ASP: 2.18j@0.2 and 3.1j@0.43

The energy with higher bullet weights is definitely ok but the Joulecreep is crazy..!

Just bought springs here in 2018 again.
2018 M150 spring still shoots exactly the same again in the same setup, so seems consistent with last years make.

Got my hands on m180 and M190 as well...the M190 is insane, it's like a stick.

I'm running the ASPUK cylinder head which has not the largest ID. That may be a limitation at the higher spring powers for this rifle.

Any idea of how much they shoot in 2019?

It would be interesting to see the energy rates for each bb with the hopup set to fly straight for each bb (Not set for just the 0.36gm bb). The reason I say this is because I would want to see the effects of the cylinder to barrel ratio on your rifle. So I am not really interested in the ASP Springs, more the effect of the cylinder to barrel to bb weight ratio.
Going off of these readings, there is a chance that your rifle can still fire very heavy bb's even with the extra long barrel and the energy may still increase.
If so, this would be out of the ordinary. It would be interesting to figure out why it would be so.

Bought an AirsoftPro M170 spring, along with a 9mm spring guide, early last year and did not install it until just the other day. Went into my BAR-10 (G-spec) with the stock cylinder.

Well, it was such a massive pull with this spring that I ended up ripping the bolt handle and end cap off the poor aluminum stock cylinder! I started laughing because stuff like this had never happened to me before. May the stock cylinder rest in peace.

My BAR-10 is now getting an AA M150 spring with an AA cylinder.

I've found that the Silverback Airsoft SRS springs work well in the VSR cylinder. They're longer than typical Laylax spec springs for the VSR, but it makes the bolt pull much easier. My Laylax 150SP pull is about the same as the M170 SBA.

Im currently running an M170 SBA spring and getting 3.3-3.4J with .43g and 2.1-2.3J with .2g on my set up with the WASP piston. This is compared to the Laylax 150SP running 2.8J with .43g and 2.4J with .2g (at optimum piston set up). The details are in the thread below.
