So, im thinking about this. I'm running a 6.01 pdi bull barrel at the standard 430mm, I've also got a 430mm EdGI in 6.00. Im running .43 and .40. What do you guys think? Should i go to the 410mm Crazy jet? Or am I not really looking at any gains?

Also. what are you guys doing with the muzzle cap when running the 410? leaving it off? using the stock one?

had first games with crazy jet inner barrel, my grouping is better than ML. BUt seem 0.4g can't reach far enough with 410mm barrel. Time to switch to 0.43g to see.

But I feel right when decided to got this inner :)

supposedly 6.04. And the pressure relief sleeve takes 12mm out of the practical barrel volume, so if you're asking for volume ratios purposes, bear that in mind.
no, I ask as many do not specify the inner diameter others mark 6.01 ---- 6.04 and I'm confused

Also I do not understand if there is only the debridged version or even the bridged version to be used in any asg

I said somewhere that I will test the Crazy Jet barrel and compare it to my Edgi Ss barrel. Didin`t had the time for my sniper barrel but you will find bellow some tests with my Krytac MK2 SPR DMR, Wolverine Reaper, Crazy Jet 455mm, Maple Leaf Hotshot 70, stock hopup unit, shooting BLS 0.45gr bbs @ 2.90joule.

Target was at 18meter or 60 feets and 30meters or 100feets, target grid is 1cm or 0.39inch, shooting was done INDOOR, standing from the bipod as in the picture attached.(10shots on each target)

The ML barrel can achieve a very nice sub 2 inch grouping at 30 meters or 100feets. I can say the accuracy is hilarious and if you look at the picture with the max range on google maps you will see a 390feet range, I had there 5 shots, 2 kills.

very interesting but you did not answer my question

Keep this in mind, this thread is about the Crazy Jet barrel in general, not strictly your question.

Though to answer your question. They are all supposed to be 6.04, though marketing can mess that up. And no there is not AEG version at the moment.

I did test mine with a set of gauge pins, and they are close enough to 6.04.

Well, that speaks really good not only on the Crazy Jet barrel, but also on the hybrid (Hotshot) setup. Which is something we didn't have any info at all.

Looking forward for that comparison to EdGI ;)

I am about to buy my first bar 10 from JG. Should I get a crazy jet or go with pdi/action army?

I only seem to find one size, 6.04x428

Crazy Jet all the way! It's much more accurate than Action Army, and on par with PDI while being half the price.

6.04x428 is just perfect for .40g bbs on the typical 550FPS measured with .20g JG Bar-10 build.

Thanks, just got one and the 70 degree autobot bucking that seems to be recommended, I have been reading for two hours on the forums tonight. Picked up my JG Bar 10 also tonight. Will order a AA hop up unit and call it quits for now until I get my tax returns. I think with the new barrel, hop up unit and bucking + several DIY mods I can do I will be able to hit 200-250 feet, yes? May not be 8/10 but I will be able to.

Could you recommend some good BB brands and weight? I keep seeing HPA BB's everywhere, met a guy at the field he just finished most of his BAR 10 build and said he used .36 and .40 not sure the brand, also he said he is going to buy a SSG 24 next!

Make sure to get a Maple Leaf concave nub (aka "hop tensioner", omega nub, etc) for your AA chamber ;)

I already use those in my guns, I have had great results with it and own over 6 of these units. I just ordered 2 more last night, one for my new rifle and one extra. I personally use a Echo 1 GAT often and it reaches to about 200+++ feet with the nub and a new bucking.:hehe:
