If you're full on gas you can blow through the whole mag without a loss in power. Of course if it's real cold or you didn't fill it all the way or whatever that doesn't quite happen.

TM 1911 MEU with Hurricane Desert Warrior kit. Got it for an outright steal of $115, and as far as I can tell it shoots fine! It came with all the original stuff and two mags, nineball steel guide rod and stronger recoil spring. The slide has Kimber trade marks and everything is Aluminium except for the Safety, mag release, trigger, beaver tail, sights(which are Novak), and slide catch; they are steel.

Is it just a REALLY tight fit? If so, get the gun as close to locking in as you can and use a hot air blow dryer, it'll remold the Serpa to the size of the gun.

You can do it too if it's too tight entirely if you can get the front of the gun at least partially in, heat, push further, reheat, and repeat until it fits.

Here's my newest piece. Just came in the mail today from MI.

It's a Western Arms SIG GSR. It's got a Creation metal slide with full trades, 150% springs, and a Guarder nozzle as of now. More upgrades in the future I'm sure.

Looks like I haven't put the rest of my WAs in this thread. I'll have to get to that when I have more time.

So I've found some time to assemble the Detonator V12 kit and with this opportunity I took some photo's of the latest additions of the 1911 family.

I really don't want to accurately count but I'd say ~3300€ the golden V12 kit alone cost 1300€ ($1700)!!
Forgot to say the Raptors are Prime kits.

Does anyone know how to change the color of the Detonator grips! I don't like it very much.

Wolf, give them a very light sanding and then use a wood oil of your choice. I would recommend something light like a sandy color to match the silver. Then put a very light coat of Varnish on it to protect the coat (Or just get a coloring/stain with the protective stuff built in)

The Detonator was built with parts I had lying around some were Guarder, some were Nova and some stock TM parts.
The kit is very expensive and has some very nice details and great external quality but it requires the same mods on the BBU and the leaf spring as the Guarder kits!
I found that very annoying especially for the price of the kit.
The Nova kits have similar quality and are cheaper and everything is drop in fit!
I've installed a Nova SFA hammer and Nova sear and the gun didn't work! I installed the stock sear and works flawlessly now, also something I encounter for the first time... I installed a Nova ambi safety and I can't engage it(!) as there's 1-2 mm between the safety and the grove of the slide!

Also I used Nova frame pins which they didn't fit without mod... It's the first time I mod pins!!!

I tried to fit also a steel Guarder SFA grip safety with no luck so I installed a stock hi capa instead.

I've built quite a few TM 1911's for me and some friends and I didn't expect to be that hard! I disassemble a TM 1911 and built a Nova kit in about an hour max... This took me about 4!! I did that much for my Guarder Desert Eagle!
