Hi,

Is it common for my Tokyo Marui G26 not to work right in 50 degree F cold weather. I am using the Tech Spray Duster (Tetraflourothane) with oil additive.
When I try to shoot the slide doesn't go all the way in and if it does the first shot the gas comes completely out of the magazine.
Any better alternatives? I even put the gun in my car window on a sunny 50 f degree day to warm it up and still didn't work.

Does anyone recommend any upgrades for this gun? I was looking for a better barrel from X_fire but don't know which one to get?

Hello scott,
Upgrades for better cold weather performance, lighter moving parts of the upper, ei slide, guiderod plug and blow back unit.
But If You pistol shots Well on a bit higher tempertures, its a matter of using a gas that gives higher pressure.

What i hear from those who play with gas(Im a hpa gbb user), and stuff i read in internet guides is dont go over 125psi on a marui gbb.
Duster Gas pressure lowers with temprature, 95degrees 125psi, 70 degrees 85 psi, 55 degrees 60 psi.
60 psi is to low for proper slide cycling.
It should be safe for Your pistol to use green gas up to 70 degrees
So my advice is to use duster above 65 degrees and green gas below 65.

I took apart my g26 and couldn't find anything on the internet showing how to put back this part or where to buy a new one. Is this the correct way. There is no hole in the center like the g17 TM.
