Hi everyone, I have done the following upgrades to my Well m 01 / l96 part upgraded rifle. Upgraded parts fitted are, m150 spring 1 washer with bearings and 3 normal washers, airsoft Pro l96 piston, and piston guide, l96 cylinder head with the rubber pad the sealed with ptfe tape. AA hop up chamber, with 75 degree aeg bucking sealed with ptfe tape, stainless Steel mad bull inner barrel 499mm.
I cronod it and it was shooting at 570fps no hop, so naturally knowing this is way way way to high I cut 1 and half coils from the m150 spring, then re cronod it few I said as it started shooting at 479fps.thank god its safe. I couldn't set the hop as my garden backs onto a footpath and then a main road so waited till I went to a game to set the hop. I come home after the game and crono it with hop set and I'm shooting at 527 to 532fps with hop on. Luckily I didn't get much chance to shoot it on game day. How can I lower the fps?
I was thinking about removing the washers from the piston guide, but would this act the same as if I had cut more coils off the spring?
