Rifle Spec:

Base: TM VSR-10 Pro-sniper
Internals:
AirsoftPRO VSR-10 Trigger set (v.4)
AirsoftPRO VSR-10 Piston (90 degree)
AirsoftPRO VSR-10 Spring guide
AirsoftPRO VSR-10 M150 Spring.
Action Army Hop-up Chamber
AIRSOFT PRO Cylinder (anodized)
AIRSOFT PRO Steel Cylinder Head
PDI hop-up bucking (VSR-type)

Problem: After i pull the bolt all way back and try to push it forward it stops at ~2-3mm before the receiver and can't be closed. Photo attached.
If i pull the trigger rifle shoots and only after that i can push and close the bolt. It appears both with or without mag and with both standard hop-up chamber and the AA one. I've already tried to remove bearings from the spring guide in order to check if there is not enough space for spring, but it didn't help.

Any suggestions, where i need to dig next?

Have you made sure you haven't over tightened your screws on the bottom of your gun at all? I know on my SPR the furthest rail screw and the hex screw near the trigger if i over tighten it sometimes it can scrape on the bolt

check the tightness of all screws, as suggested, including your rail screws. The fact it only happens when cocked leads me to think it's related to the sears or piston more, but check those rail screws as your cylinder may have a small amount of pressure forcing it up and it could be contacting those screws if they are protruding into the receiver too much.

EDIT: Of course, we haven't established if it just needs a little nudge home or if it cannot go further at all. Reliku is right as the last few mm of the push is the nozzle entering the chamber and bucking so if it's tight, it will require more force.

So, in order to wipe out most of possible problems i removed all parts except for receiver, bolt and trigger. Problem is still here, i can't return bolt to forward position after it was cocked.

"Of course, we haven't established if it just needs a little nudge home or if it cannot go further at all." - it absolutely cannot move until shot.

Weird one. Would have to take a look to determine the problem....

Tried a washer in between the trigger box and the receiver already? Tends to solve weird problems like this.

Wonder if your spring guide stopper is pushing back? Well... that and if your Spring guide is too long.

Where should i put the washer? Only under one or both screws or under all trigger mechanism?

Spring guide is not too long, i was able to completely compress spring with the spring guide inside the piston. And it'll be quite strange since all parts are from AirsoftPro and they should be compatible with each other. Only non APro thing left is receiver, which is TM.

UPDATE: Funny thing, after 20-30 shots bolt has started to move all way forward (almost all the way, it locks but with applying some force). Looks like it was just a matter of initial grinding between parts. At least i hope so

Thank you guys for help and advices! Now i need to wait for inner barrel to arrive and i finally can begin playing.

I had a similar problem. In my case it was the barrel being threaded on too tight. The cylinder guide ring was missing between the barrel and the receiver, so I think the barrel was threaded in too tight, [one extra turn] causing the barrel and receiver to be out of alignment, with the cylinder hitting the hop up too soon, so my bolt would not go forward enough. I took the barrel off and rethreaded it and the problem went away. I have all AA parts.

Edit: I just saw your other post with your barrel off and still having the same problem, so my solution will not work. It looks like the cylinder and receiver don't align properly?

One person had a good point. Lower your spring stopper and see if it pushes forward then. If so, you may have to file/sand the spring stopper to make it thinner.
